Leigh Griffiths is getting away with his stamp at the weekend. No further action to be taken.

Only watched the full game yesterday. Each time I watched the incident real time I thought it was accidental. Slow mo maybe not. Apparently the two studio refs thought yellow only? Does it not have to be clear to punish?

Should have been a yellow, could have been red.

The ref seen him and gave him a yellow......I thought you couldn't further punish after that?

We move on. Looking forward to the Motherwell game tomorrow. They always raise their game against Celtic at Fir Park so we need to be up for it per the St. Johnstone game 👍

He got a yellow for the shove, there were also two very bad tackles on McGregor and christie with studs showing and I think the ref only booked the boy on McGregor

Got away with one in my opinion but hey-ho that's fitba some decisions go your way others don't.

He will start in a 2 tomorrow night, I reckon and I actually reckon he will score, he is lucky because Eddy is making chances for him.

Wasn't sure on the Griff incident TBH. Hard one to prove definite malice ... altho' that's never stopped the compliance officer makiing it up as they go along in the past. Initially thought accidental, but could easily have meant something ... he's that daft.

On Griff the player, and his Celtic future, another hard one to call. I'm liking the use of 2 up top at times ... brings a different dimension to our play, albeit we had 75 mins of keech at Hamilton. Griff has shown some flashes of his former form, but needs to do more in games, and over a run of games, to prove his point. On balance, think I'd prefer a different partner for Eddy, in that formation. Expect Griff to get the nod for now though.

i'd be curious to see bayo in there with eddy for a game.

he's more central and a different option.

also, rangers fans have s£x with chickens.

Watched the game last night for first time. Think we were very unlucky 1H not to be 3 up TBH and don't think it was at all as bad as folk were making out. Everything is relative, I guess?

I'd be curious to see someone leading the line who isn't constantly offside, with Eddy in behind.

Thought Griff would at least give us better deliveries at corners. Not at Hamilton!

Griffiths is decent at headers, so of course he would take the corners and not be in the box.

Don’t agree with your first sentence.

Have no opinion on your second sentence.

Can’t argue with the last sentence.

I can’t remember the last player we had who could put a decent corner in

Pov

ghod put up an article a while back which addressed our strikers movement, pretty good analysis, bayo was far more central than the rest, you can imagine eddies was center to left.

his first touch and link up play is probably phish tho

Could have been great minds...

Naka was good too.

Naylor was reasonable at the corners but prefer FBs to be defending at corners.
Tosh Mckinley too.
