When we do start playing and passing at pace we actually look alright.
The players aren't motivated.

They know this season is a write off and that many won’t be there after the summer.

I think Mourinho`s summer shopping list is growing by the week, JV is finished sadly, Dier is not a midfielder and we have no fit CF.

In the summer we need a CF, upgrades at FB, a replacement for JV, and a CDM with pace and energy as a minimum.

Lots of work for Levy to do, adding 4 or 5 players and shifting others.

Chill, Levy ain't going shopping at Harrods...We'll get more average players with lots of experience behind them, or old in other words

Take away the luck and take a look at your team deflections and dives.

To be fair we'd been playing crap football for a while before Mourinho arrived. At least we're getting results now.

Obviously none of us want to see us dominated on the ball at home, but the team is in the middle of a rebuild both mentally and physically.

Sad to see Vertonghen looking like he knows his best days are gone, he`s been a great servant for Spurs but today he looked like he knows he`s finished at PL level.

I think the difference is we didn’t start the game with the intention of playing sheet football under Poch.

Maybe if we had done occasionally we'd have won something.

It's a good result imo. Southampton are no mugs, and in fact have a very good away record of late and you're still without Kane.

Well 2 days after beating Man City, something of a let down could be expected.
Last 20 mins the team played well.
Got to give credit to Moura and Son for running their asses off.
Trouble with English scheduling is that we're due to play RB Leipzig 3 days after Aston Villa away. RBLeipzig, 2nd in the Bundesleague, have an extra day's rest.
So.... expect the worst!

What garbage!

You could see that the moment we changed the midfield and around, had GF and Alli on that we were better able to pass it through the opposition, link defence with attack. Dier and Winks is a poor combination and although he started ok Ndombele went missing and the strikers were very isolated.

It was poor. We struggled until those changes but that's nothing to do with motivation or a made up assessment that the players have written off this season.

Expect the worst because RBL have one days extra rest?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are 2nd in the Bundesleague, we are 5th in the Prem, play away at Villa 3 days before, AND they have an extra rest. Got it now?
