Utd do have a great chance of getting him too. Who else will spend £100m+ on him?
===============

Why on earth would one of the hottest properties in europe come to a club thats going to struggle to get europa league football?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For lots of money and the fact he reportedly wants to return to England. Liverpool have already ruled it out so that leaves Utd, City (can't see that after losing him on a free) and Cheslea who have other concerns to spend the majority of their budget on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A right winger is one of their priorities though - Willian is leaving this summer and they’ve looked poor there this season

They still have that Hazard money sitting there for a big signing. Which I think will be him. All will probably come down to who has CL football. We play them
In a real 6 pointer in 10 days
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah I am not saying Chelsea are out of the running but if they were that only really leaves Utd if he is coming home.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Probably. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Barca and Real in for him too. He’s one of the hottest prospects in world football and I’d love if we got him

But playing for Ole in the Europa isn’t a great selling point. And if we were able to pay him more than anyone else and that was his motivation then we’d be bringing in the type of player that we’ve apparently been trying to sell for the past year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I feel you're over thinking it Robb.

If he wants to come back to England he wants to come back to England. Managers last, on average, 18 months which would be a third of his initial contract.

If Chelsea don't come in or can't match £250k to £300k a week then Utd have a great chance, it's as simple as that.

I hope so - and perhaps if we get Poch he might be more inclined to work with a manager who made a CL final with a lesser club

It's not much more than Rashford is on. Most top paid players are exceptionally well paid, I wouldn't let being stung by Sanchez change that fact.

Also Utd pay high wages because of the way Woodward has set up the image rights so it's a bit misleading. It's also starting to blow up in his face and I fully expect him gone by this time next year.

I really don't think players think like that unless it's someone like Pep or Klopp. Football is all about fine margins and City having a goal ruled out by VAR or Moura snaffling a last minute winner vs Ajax doesn't make Poch any better or worse as a manager. At the end of the day he has won nothing and has an appalling record in big games plenty of which have been as a result of some weird tactic he has tried on the day like Son at LWB.

Sancho is productive on either side of the pitch and although he's been playing on the left more for Dortmund recently, there's no question that he's played predominantly on the right hand side since joining them in 2017. It shouldn't even be a discussion.

That doesn't necessarily mean I think he's better on the right mind. His skillset would add so much to our team on either side of the pitch because we don't have anyone that skilled with the ball at their feet who can create and score goals in equal measure from a wide position.

I highly doubt he'll come to us anyway.

We should be looking at Ziyech and the man who coaches him as well.

He scores goals end of!

There is precisely zero evidence to say he is better on the left, nothing at all.

Utd do have a great chance of getting him too. Who else will spend £100m+ on him?

The noise is that he wants Chelsea or Utd and I can't see Chelsea spending that. Utd have regigged their money a bit and FFP wise will have oodles available this summer.

Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho is a great little project.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I do wonder if that might play into his thinking. That 3 has the potential to be England's front line for a long period. Kane is obviously established, but I have got a feeling that he might suffer with injuries as the years go on. If they can forge a front 3 at club level then it would be difficult for the England manager to ignore.
