What's negative about it?

Company slanders our support by misquoting/fabricating lies.

Company refuses to explain itself.

Company told that until it does, it loses its privilege.

Are the BBC welcome at Ibrox yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Haha - was waiting for 'BBC Bingo' to come in and there it is 'House'!!

But when we banned the BBC - wasn't that mocked on here? I am hazarding a guess but I think it probably was.

The hypocrisy is fantastic on here at times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because your fans didn't like the output of one reporter.

Sky have blatantly fabricated lies.

Huge difference

But you know that. Or maybe you don't. Dunno which is worse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You have to love revisionism
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Revisionism?

You banned McLaughlin for reporting on fan arrests and sectarian singing after a cup game.

Now you're all of a sudden lauding the reporting of fan arrests and racist comments.

And you've the cheek to label anyone else a hypocrite too 🤦‍♂️

No. He was banned and the ban was rescinded after talks between the BBC and Rangers.

He was banned again after his programme on Rangers going into administration, which included the classy animation of Ally McCoist committing suicide
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Enough of your facts. FFS!

I know. It’ll never catch on

FFS we can't even ban a national broadcaster without you lot follow following in our footsteps.

Oh bit Rangers have banned BBC, who we gonna ban? That's what this is, sad and pathetic.

amazed rangers aren't banning them as well.

they blatantly misrepresented one of their players.

kinda suggests that someone at rangers provided the translation...

Embarrassing from Celtic. Very Rangersy approach to things to be honest.

I’m quite happy with the response.

Sky have for some as yet unknown reason put out a ridiculous attempt at a translation from one of the hottest properties in Scottish football. That translation cast aspersions against both our club and at the same time attributed them to an innocent player who to be honest is in the news enough.

Celtic have asked what happened and where it came from. Sky have refused point blank to let us know (as may be their right) and believe a simple “sorry” will gloss it over. If it was a simple error with little consequence then fine; but this isn’t.

Celtic have taken it further (as is their right) and in the meantime refused cooperation with Sky.

All seems fairly straightforward and sensible to me. I’d do exactly the same if a supplier or customer treated my business like that.

if someone was spreading lies about you, and then said it was someone else, but wouldn't tell you who, would you just say that's ok?

would you let them in your house?

I wouldn't so why should celtic?

It’s either Traynor or the agent. My belief is it’s Traynor and hence the deafening silence and multiple statement about anything else.

Funny how the CarTell story has gone all quiet eh?

not outrageous to suggested that someone who worked for a red top would have a hand in sensationalising a story.

I think it's him as well tbh, rangers would be better off without him

I've found that any tv series I've watched which started really well ended up schite.

homeland - schite
blacklist- schite

there was one years ago with kevin bacon - the following, about a cult, the first 2 episodes were quality

"aww no way the nanny with them for 5 years in it?"

by the third episode you are just like

"yeah he's in the cult."

Aye some of them are dragged out far too long.

Homeland and Power the biggest culprits.

If it was a case of them having an opinion that we didn’t like and banning them, then I’d agree. But they were involved in airing an interview where the comments by the player being interviewed were deliberately misinterpreted, and made specific allegations that weren’t mentioned.

FWIW, I think Celtic are using this to smoke out who they believe to be the real culprit. I don’t think they’ll get the answer they want, as some non entity will be sacrificed to save face all round.

Very juvenile approach from celtic here.

Biting the hands that feeds them - over reaction and quite ungrateful for all the protection they have been afforded from Sky through the years.

Just who is making these woeful decisions?*

So you're saying Chris McLaughlin got banned because of an opinion piece?
