Battle of the midtable teams. Both started on 31 points, but the difference between the two today doesn't reflect the table.
Good to see both Laca and Ozil score. These sorts of games are one where guys off form should be scoring and they did. Pepe was pretty good, MOTM for me.
Looks like the Dubai trip worked well
Okay, so we smashed by 4 unreplied goals. Unfinished business from 2011. Also positives - clean sheet, Ozil scores after nearly 10 months, so is Lacazette after 'ages'. Erm and no howlers from Xhaka and Mustafi. It's a happy day.
Newcastle could've levelled it for 2-2 if instead of Clark, it was one of their forward players with that chance, and if they also didn't hit the post. But on the flip side, chances were taken and destroyed a team, about time.
True that 50. The result looks comfortable. But this wasnt a comfortable game.

haven't we seen that with Liverpool a few times this season and they end up winning the game? fact is they didn't score and we won 4-0
Pepe or Saka MOTM? Pepe just, his passing was excellent and he took his goal well.

How does one chance make 2 goals

Clark chance and the guy who hit the post. Read, says it all there.

In the end after 1 goal and 2 assists I would hand it to Pepe to be fair.
If they scored the first the second doesnt happen...

Spot on. Before Mane goal yesterday, Pukki had a great chance to score and wasted it. We are moving in the right direction.

Pepe defended well too
Finally a win, and a decent scoreline! Won't be miserable for the rest of my holiday now
What a turnaround by the lads in the 2nd half. Arteta must have screamed the paint off the walls in the dressing room.
Absolutely thrilled to see Lacazette finally get the monkey off his back. The team reaction said it all.
I loved the celebration of Laca's goal from the whole team too

Can't believe the Sky pundits aren't giving us much credit and saying how our first 2 goals we scored should have been defended better
