Was a good performance yesterday, especially McGregor again.

I didn`t see any of the Rangers game, so can`t comment, but the points swing really is a surprise. Doesn`t look like their form is changing for the better any time soon. We can only do our own thing, but the players are showing incredible consistency. Going to miss the next 3 games

oh, and Power is a kn0b

It's as if we have discovered "the magic formula" for rest and recovery and hard work during the Winter break and Rangers haven't. Some of this I put down to Gerrard still to a degree having his 'L' plates on and McAllister being the proverbial chocolate teapot.

Not complaining mind and a gentle saunter toward 9 will be great.

I don’t think anyone out there still believes there’s a title race on, if anything we should look to try win it by 20+ points with the position we’re in.

you would say that if we were 10 points behind tho so there is a reason for that

as ever, not celebrating a league title till its over, plenty of football still to be played.

we have been terrific since the break, credit to players and management.

more so the manager for changing the system.

Because we were 2 points clear having played a game more.

CalMac was brilliant yesterday, Christie improving again and Griff looking in the groove again. He really is an intelligent football player. Eddy? Eddy speaks for himself...just brilliant.

An interesting stat on twitter yesterday.

Leigh Griffiths has scored more goals than Morelos, Kent and Defoe combined in 2020.

Not bad for someone who did genuinely look finished and the chants aimed at him now appear to have backfired spectacularly.

Am I the only one that was frustrated with Griffiths yesterday? Especially first half, moves were breaking down with him and he`s still taking ridiculous shots at goal. Thought his dead ball delivery was poor most of the game too.

Don`t get me wrong, I am not saying he was crap, but I just don`t see enough to convince me he`s getting back to anywhere near his best, whatever that is.

Seen this stat on Twitter League Goals in 2020

Rangers Forwards:
Morelos = 0
Defoe = 2
Kent = 1
Kamberi = 1
Hagi = 1
Total = 5

Celtic Centre Backs
Jullien = 3
Ajer = 2
Simunovic = 1
Total = 6 to be fair Defo has been injured and Hagi and Kamberi are only in through the door. More concerning for the bears is the lack of form from Morelos and Kent not looking a 7m player according to some?

Pallaver, he's never going to be a great all round footballer but he's now on 8 goals and you wouldn't put it past him finishing on over 15 for the season, a season which didn't start for him until January really.

I thought he was ok yesterday, could have had a hat trick but for an offside flag and a good save. He also should have had 2 assists had Eddy finished off a fine move.

Yes that`s what I mean. He wasn`t crap, but just doesn`t convince me. He seems to be learning being a partner with Edouard though and it`s bringing results, but I worry about where we will be, when Edouard leaves.

btw. What was the score with Ntcham yesterday? I missed the build up so didn`t hear anything. Injured?

Course not.

We were playing outstanding football for most of the first part of the season.

Rangers dominated the league cup final which we won. This just shows that they have no killer instinct. They cant win when something is really on the line.

Onto the Old Firm defeat. You can see that they thought they were favourites after that. Mixing blind hope and optimism with a team with no killer instinct just isnt going to bode well for them.

They were always going to falter after the break. Like i said, Defoe is getting old, as is McGregor and Davis. Would you take any of their player in either our 1st or back up team. Most likely not. Yet everybody had them as favourites.

Pallaver, Ntcham has had a calf strain the past 2 weeks that he's been playing through so Lennon has given him a rest.

Forrest i think was rested too.

Brown looks like he may be fit for Thursday.

Few people in the ground saying elhamed is out for the season, not great

There was one move yesterday, we created from the back and were in the Killie box within 5 or 6 passes.. all one touch, backheels too. Edouard somehow put it wide from 8 yards out while under pressure from a tackle.. but the football we played to get it there was sublime.

Think we might need to cut the losses with El Hammed if he is out for the season.

He's obviously very injury prone given his record before us.

Shame as he's an absolutely brilliant player but he's useless in the treatment room for 3/4 of a season.

Thankfully Frimpong will continue to get better but we may need to try find another right back now as Bauer can go take up a job as a bin man.
