Change of pace, but watching the Fury Wilder fight for the fifth time. Absolutely bossed Wilder.
Had £20 on Fury at 7/2 to win by KO/TKO too.
Just had a feeling that the extra weight on Fury would be a big factor, and it proves to be. Schooled that useless windmill.
It was a pretty poor fight entertainment wise, i think legacy wise for Fury it was massive but the actual event was a bit of a damp squib mainly down to Wilder being miles out of his depth.
Expected Fury to win, he won even easier than i expected it to be. Shame the ref called it before we got to see Wilder get planted.
It was a good fight.
Most HW fights tend to be on the lower scale of technical ability due to throwing punches with the size and weight involved of each fighter.
That said, Fury schooled him tactically. Used the jab defensively, then to bamboozle Widler, and when he started rattling him (using the jab) he backed it up with another jab or left hook.
As soon as he introduced the left hook, he double it up again with a straight right or right hook which had Wilder all at sea.
Fury v Joshua will be amazing if it happens as Joshua is better schooled with his technical ability but also falls apart when he's being tagged.
Yet he has the technical ability and power to flatten Fury. It's a pure 50/50 fight
