Only seen Goldson play 2-3 full games so not as much info on him as I'd like to give an opinion other than he hasn't looked any better than whoever he was playing alongside and like Simo for us appears to have a guaranteed brain fart in him?

How has he played generally?

Frimpong was a good change.

i feel like bayo should have been included, we kept punting balls in the box and above all else he is a threat in the air.

Funnily enough I was looking at some stats last night and noticed that the big man has the 2nd best goals to minutes ratio in our squad, and considering he was robbed of 2 goals that surprised me.

I think he's due a real run, even if it just means as the go to sub for 5-6 games in row.

Is klimala an edouard replacement?

If he is, is he good enough
If he isn't, what the fook did we buy him for?

Goldson is vice captain, yet is as culpable for us losing points as anyone. Both him and Tav have been guilty on too many occasions and just keep on getting selected.

Think you're being harsh, rats? When you lose a goal 9/10 someone in your defence will be partially culpable. As these 2 are half your defence it's inevitable they are involved.

No different to any other team.

Absolutely not harsh I'm afraid. Tav and Goldson have made too many mistakes for two players that are captain and vice captain. Katic is a young player who can be forgiven.

I've never thought Tav was captain material and not strong enough for the role. He's had plenty of good games in an attacking sense but he's not the man to rouse the team into action or noise the team up when they need a boot up the hole. He's been part of a defence that has completely folded in recent times and that needs addressed IMO.

I've actually stuck by Tav for far longer than most because of his capacity to create chances, but even that has dried up. He doesn't take the penalties or free kicks any more either.

I think Lenny is happy to allow Klimala and Soro to acclimatize until next season, or perhaps he'll start bedding them in once the league is officially wrapped up.

I want to see some of the youngsters get some game time too, guys like McGregor, Brown, Forrest & Eddy should be allowed to put their feet up a bit once we get close to sealing the title, they've played a lot of games over the last few years.

I think we were unlucky in an attacking sense because I think we had 25 shots on goal, hit the bar and the post. We looked like a Warburton side though with no cutting edge.

Then one monumental f@ck up from Goldson, plus another few frights near the end when we were chucking guys up front, only forthem to slam against the brick wall of Hamilton defenders.

I hope that's true about them, I feel like soro has more of a shot than Klimala givin our history with strikers.

I felt like we required a cb, but we got a cm who wouldn't play and a cf who won't get in the team.

seems like a waste on current evidence but early days

Said at the time that Gerrard made a rod for his own back making Tavernier captain. Think you were short on contenders for that title at the time though. He’s decent going forward, but defensively poor. If he’s not contributing to your forward play, then that’s a big issue.

Big ‘comedy’ Goldson seems to escape a lot of criticism. He seems to be an ok centre half, and not much more. Like most players, he’s a confidence player and there’s little confidence throughout the whole team.

I thought Gerrard would still be there next season, unless the season started to collapse even further. You’ll probably put in a battling performance in Europe but come up short, and probably beat us. It’s the other games that are going to kill him.

The only thing left is will he leave on his own or will the board come to an agreement with him. He’s done either way though.

His interview at the weekend was naive, and maybe he’ll learn from that. He’ll be able to think it over when he finds out he’s resigned...

My worry is that Celtic know certain player are expecting to leave and they wanted to get Klimala and Soro in early to limit disruption.

I think it's absolute insanity the way people are talking about Klimala, all it does it heap pressure on the lad when he finally gets a real chance.

they seem to get up for the games against us to be fair.

Probably because we beat Braga home and away despite being in our slump.

And I would say that IMO Braga are better than Celtic?

Would be nice for El Hamed to start on Saturday then he'd have 8 days to prepare for Ibrox
