Great goal from Barnes
He'd have missed that a few months ago
True, looks quite young as well?
The last Leicester game I watched you didn't have Ndidi playing, he makes a difirence, great player
Ndidi is probably our most important player just before Vardy, absolutely fell off a cliff when he got injured.

This. No coincidence we’ve been so much better with him back
Makes the difference
Intersections top in Europe
Gives the midfield confidence to press forward
Thoroughly enjoyed watching that
Great watch
Has anyone noticed how we play much better when it’s raining?

I'll give him that one tonight
Great win and confidence boost, really was needed tonight.
Did it in style as well against a really poor Villa, only West Ham looked as poor as them.

Good luck with rest
How can they play so well in the cup
And so poor in league
Good performance but Villa are rotten and almost certaintly going down with their fixtures.
Tougher game Saturday.
Turn over Watford or play well and get a point
I'll be happy

Lets be fair to us, we got back to our best tonight by pressing them from the front, their defense didn't know what hit them and that's when they make mistakes.
Is that all from Ndidi being back or does Rodgers think we can only do it when he is playing?
His recent comments re: Wilf seems to allude to that.
That. Was. Better.
Very good tactics from Rodgers for the first time in a while. Albrighton in to cover Pereira and stop Grealish and the overlaps worked perfectly. Albrighton has a corker.
Ndidi back and looking class. What a difference he makes. Vardy looking sharp again. Let’s keep those two men fit!!!
And then the biggest news of the night. Quite simply Ben Chilwell cannot have his place back. JJ looked incredible - now that’s a proper defender. Brilliant until he seems to die a death energy wise after 75 mins.
Long day and long trip home followed by a stupidly early get up for work worth it tonight. Get in.
And all you negative people saying we’d struggle tonight. Must win, did win 😉
It was very good Mersey but let’s also remember how terrible Villa were. We’ve not seen Justin tested on that left side at all tonight and that will change against Watford. That said - I absolutely agree that Justin needs to keep his place because Chilwell is horrific
I agree he wasn’t properly tested against a poor Villa team, but when he was he stood up to it and more.
Good intensity from the front again and we looked a real threat when Vardy came on. Feeling a little more upbeat about things after seeing how different we looked with Ndidi and Vardy on.
But can we really not press without Ndidi? Really?
Praet was tidy again. Will never unlock defences like Tielemans but better in that 8 role behind Maddison. Tielemans almost needs to be further forward.
We can press without N’didi but we don’t win the ball anywhere near as much. Makes a huge difference
