I was banned from the man Utd board for saying Solsjkaer isn't worthy of being man Utd manager.
Must have been a load of complaints from man u fans for that to happen.

there's a lot of abuse sent to Adrian
but when you look at the goals
1st
trent is goal side of the scorer gets close, then just stops lets him get a yard and pick his corner
2nd
VVD just labors doesn't even attempt to get close, then the ball is squared Gomez stands him up and Henderson shows him onto his strongest foot
3rd
TAA is about to sprint back but then just literally stops like he can't be fcked
Adrian did hit a terrible backless but those defenders did their team no favors when you watch it back, compare their effort with the Alamoesque defending of atletico

atletico were knacked, offering nothing, committing the whole team forward exposing the defense is the real reason you conceded the first 2. mistakes happened

What? It was a simple pass back for Adrian to hit it upfield, happens in every single game for any team.
Why? Because the keeper is usually the safe pass as he wouldn't have a man on him.
Complete and utter mess up literally straight after we scored.
He had nothing to do all game either except one save which he almost messed up and had to recover it.
That kind of lack of concentration is unforgivable when the rest of the players have been putting a major shift in.

Always liked Adrian at West Ham as he's an entertaining goalie. Sometimes for the right reasons sometimes for the wrong ones but never CL quality especially for a big knockout game. Unfortunately for Liverpool they didn't have any other choice.
Andy Lonerghan on the bench for a CL last 16 game is just bizarre. He was ok for us, bad for Leeds, career all but over and now in a Liverpool side about to win the league title.
Pretty sure every player could have done ever so slightly better.
There's no argument that the massive blunder was Adrians. He even slipped when attempting to save it. Complete and utter clown.

You've clearly watched a different game. There was a player running down TAA's right, he had to stop to go with him, who would be more of a risk than a player cutting inside into centre backs outside of the box. Unfortunately none of the centre backs got tight enough to him.

He does look at him and does stop to go with him.
That's his job. It was the job of the central defenders to come out to the opposition attacker when he went in central, towards them, which is what they tried to do.
You don't understand football. Right back was my position, you go with the runner on your outside, you don't vacate your position leaving it free to chase after the ball. It would be pretty easy to play against a team whose players just run after the ball.

3rd goal, trent was dead on his feet.. he'd been bombing up and down the wing for 120mins..
It's all down to Adrian and his lack of concentration. Like I said its unforgivable.
But the players will say we win as a team and lose as a team while Adrian will be eased out (think he is going anyway)
The thing is the season is basically finished. While great to know the league is in the bag, it's somewhat of a boring finish.

how do you explain the defending for first and second?
Adrian messes up first no doubt, but again, TAA is goal side and tight and then just gives up lets him shoot
second, lord knows what VVD and Henderson are doing for that one
3rd one sure put that down tot he game being dead and the boys waving the white flag

You've clearly watched a different game. There was a player running down TAA's right, he had to stop to go with him, who would be more of a risk than a player cutting inside into centre backs outside of the box. Unfortunately none of the centre backs got tight enough to him.

Always liked Adrian at West Ham as he's an entertaining goalie. Sometimes for the right reasons sometimes for the wrong ones but never CL quality especially for a big knockout game. Unfortunately for Liverpool they didn't have any other choice.
Andy Lonerghan on the bench for a CL last 16 game is just bizarre. He was ok for us, bad for Leeds, career all but over and now in a Liverpool side about to win the league title.

Ultimately you're picking fault with the effort of players who had spend around 100 minutes running their socks off and pummelling the Atletico goal.

sure there's a full back coming on, Trent doesn't even look at him, let alone move towards him, he's ball watching and just stops and lets the player get space and shoot

He does look at him and does stop to go with him.
That's his job. It was the job of the central defenders to come out to the opposition attacker when he went in central, towards them, which is what they tried to do.
You don't understand football. Right back was my position, you go with the runner on your outside, you don't vacate your position leaving it free to chase after the ball. It would be pretty easy to play against a team whose players just run after the ball.

Atletico fans were amazing especially in first half of normal time. Love the fact they sang their Ronaldo violador song solidly.
