We usually replace Kane with Son.

But is Kane going anywhere?

Depends on how much Kane would fetch in a post-CoVid transfer market.

Interesting point, would players values and wages be lower post coronavirus?

Will clubs re evaluate wage structures and transfer values?

The stratospheric sums thrown around the football world are a function of demand and supply. A demand that is increasingly driven by cash injections from sources outside "football".

It's going to be very hard to find anyone splashing their cash once this is over. For the first few months at least, before we all revert to type.

WIll make it easier for clubs to hang on to players they really do not want to sell.

Yeah Kane is going to a relegation side!

Our worst season in a decade and yet still above them

Hope you keep that same energy for when mum and dad decide to sell the family silver to pay the first 2-3 mortgage payments for that shiny new stadium.

The last economic squeeze came just as we were preparing to start paying for ours.

Kane is putting pressure on Levy to rebuild our squad to the required levels, or he will look to leave. Interesting times, but we all know deep down Kane will be forced to ask to leave.

If lane chose's to leave or request a transfer it effects his transfer fee massively. That's why it's so annoying spurs didn't reinvest into the squad when they were flying.

Authors of our own misfortune tbh

Don't worry, we are one of the richest clubs in Europe and earnt a fortune by getting to a CL final, after so many consecutive years in CL

Simple answer is you couldn't replace him , that's like when we sold Bale and Utd sold Ronaldo. World class players are a dime a dozen.
