1st chunk of that money would go on a manager.

Subject to Pogba staying and wanting to stay/being motivated, I would add Sancho & Khoulibaly

What a waste of money

1. RW should be the priority.
2. CM (If Pogba is sold)
3. ST (Someone for the long term or Ighalo)
4. #10 if we ship out Pereira & Lingard
5. Bring Smalling back from loan (Don't think we should spend another £80m on another CB)

Only city and Liverpool have accumulated more points than us since Ole took over. And that is whilst he has been overseeing a pretty big rebuild. I think he's done enough to be given another season

Neymar - around 150m

Spend the remaining 100m on a goalie and a CF.

Feck Neymar. He's and individual. Doesn't suit what Ole is trying to build.

Don't think we need a keeper either. If De Gea goes then promote Hendo.

That's exactly what the Spurs fans used to say for years.

Worst thing you could do as a fanbase, is fall into that trap.

Well Ole has had 15 months so far. Too early to judge yet
in my opinion. Things are looking up at the moment

RW - Sancho
CF - Ighalo
CM/AM/FW - Grealish (though doubts after his little incident!)

If Pogba stays I'd probably re-evaluate the midfield signing.

But we definitely need a quality RW and a support striker.

Well, the OP asks which players do you sign, so the fact Ole is not in the same league as Pep and Klopp is a moot point.

But in reality, he really isn't, and if you spent a billion you wouldn't be challenging for the title with Ole at the wheel.

I usually hate this fantasy football stuff, but just for fun (ugh) I wouldn’t be upset about something like...

CM - SMS
RW - Bernardeschi
CF - Werner
CB - De Vrij/Skriniar

Hopefully we get more of Greenwood off the right. It’s where he should be playing now IMO. Bernardeschi would be an immediate upgrade on Lingard and can play across the front line.

SMS plays in the pivot alongside Fred or McT. One more year from Matic as backup as Garner comes through.

I don’t think I have to explain the other two.

Four top players, which, considering remaining contract durations and current situations should clock in under EUR250m.

If Werner was unavailable, I wouldn’t be against a year of Ighalo and spending the extra cash of Havertz over Bernardeschi.

Havertz has also been productive off the RHS (six goals and assists in eight Bundesliga games from there) and can play in CM and well behind a front man/two.

Sancho
Kane

Add them 2 and I reckon we challenge for the title.

I don't think there will be any big money signings in the coming window. I will be happy if we keep a motivated Pogba & sign a decent winger & defender. We will be at least in the top four then.

And yet Ole has a good record against the better managers/teams. We have struggled more against the lesser teams, which was due to a lack of creativity in the midfield. Now we have Fernandes that issue has been somewhat resolved. The return of Pogba or another signing should he leave and we are looking much more capable of consistently winning games against teams that attack and teams that sit deep.

Try looking at the actual facts before trotting out tired old cliches. Ole is building a squad capable of competing. Whether he has the managerial ability to win the title against those two managers remains to be seen, but his record against them head to head with a weaker squad isn't anything to be ashamed of. I'll continue to give him a fair amount of time thanks.

I was talking more about his personal attitude/how he wants to be the main man. I don't thing that fits in with the character of player that Ole is looking to bring in.

All of 250m in Sancho.

Why? Because it’s the sort of thing we’d do..
