I get what you’re saying but, apart from 2014, most of those title races were boring and one sided. Even Leicester won it by 10 points.
Best era was probs 2005-2009 in terms of quality of football. Best title races were 2012 and 2014 though, and best rivalry was United-Arsenal between 97-2004.

I agree with this I also think the early 90s was good too, the league was very competitive. Yes I know Man United dominated the 90s but there were plenty of teams that competed very well with them i.e. Blackburn, Newcastle and then Arsenal

I think you may be spot on here Wahl. That Pellgrini title winning season is yet to be beaten in terms of entertainment.
The battle for the title was incredible. Even Everton played awesome football. Spurs were actually hilarious. Felix Magath was bonkers. Swansea and Bony were awesome.
I think 11/12 may be the only season that tops it in terms of pure entertainment.
I don't think there was ever an overwhelming favourite for the title in any of those seasons. Every year, you went into the season thinking any of like 4 or 5 teams could win the league.
My favourite non Chelsea league winning season will always be 15/16. We were so shiiit that year, but the league was absolutely crazy. The transition from Lester being top being a bit of a joke, to then people thinking maybe they could actually win the league, to then them actually winning it was amazing.
