Saying every passing day makes it more likely that we will be awarded it doesn't make sense really.

Less likely the season being played out and more likely you will be awarded the league.

Pretty simple really

Yeah I know what you were referring to but it still doesn't really make sense.

I can help I think.

So Colemans feels that due to the depression of not being able to celebrate in front of the fans it will destroy momentum going forward. This momentum thing is key.

So because we're so far ahead we've got more momentum and not only that the others have none. It's this momentum that is the reason we won games of football.

So we lose our momentum and our rivals didnt have any anyway so they're not affected by all this and we are. As such won't win as many games NEXT season when we also don't celebrate in front of fans.

Pretty simple and the science is sound.

I was just referring to the every passing day means the league is less likely to restart really. I mean it may not restart of course, but at the moment the plan is very much for it to restart and will remain the case unless things don't improve enough.

Do you not think that as the days pass by with no apparent restart that it becomes less likely for the league to restart and finish,or do you think the longer it goes on the more likely the league will restart.

I will look forward to your reasoning on this

A fine question.

Well as things stand, as each day passes the plan remains to start on 12 June.

Liverpool will be deserved champions, how ever it's confirmed. I hope the season is played out. And I think that's more beneficial to United than relying on City to be kicked out of the CL. Let's just go out and eliminate that element of doubt. I'm pretty confident that we'd overhaul Chelsea in the remainder of the season, should it take place

Not sure the longer it goes on that bar teams actually still involved actually give a feck and whistle I get this, players life's and family are still at risk.

Reset, restart.

Given the finance that's involved, I'm not sure that option will be given. Just like any civil servant will have to go back in to work. Without being tested twice a week and isolated beforehand.

Footballers at the highest level will still have far more security than the average person.

And that's fair?

Jeez man we all bleed the same.

Football is only a sport.

posted on 10/5/20

And let's face it without fans a non entity.

posted on 10/5/20

If games can be played then they should try and play them, footballers don't deserve any special care or sympathy when poor feckers are doing all manner of jobs without half the precautions right now.

posted on 10/5/20

Just let Leeds up and Liverpool champs and let the rest take care of them self.

Good look with that,

I've no problem with this scenario believe it or not but as I've said its the the backlash that will inevitably follow suit and no plan mapped out for a new season when the real crap will hit the fan.

posted on 10/5/20

I didn't say it was fair. It's what will happen. And the footballers will be far better protected than your average worker.

If it came down to what's right, in terms of health, nobody would have to go back into work until the disease is eradicated. Or at the very least neutralised. But that's not going to happen.

Basically we'll be in a holding position until a vaccination is available. Until that time, you'll have a relaxation of lockdown measures, then there will be a spike in infections and deaths, then there will be another lockdown. What it will come down to is balancing death and economics, and basing lockdowns on that. Until the vaccine is created. It's all about buying time.

Have you seen parks in one example Hackney to day and I'm Irish.

You are just wishing a second level on here.

Hope you and yours stay safe, night 🍀🙏🍻

I'm definitely not. I'm saying it's inevitable. If you have a disease that's spread from person to person, the infection rate will increase, when you relax measures that prevent that transmission. Not sure where I said I wanted that to happen. It's an inevitability

Here’s a question.

If Liverpool sign Werner this summer and it takes a while for him, and the team, to adapt to each other as they’re looking to freshen up their attack, and as a result Liverpool’s form suffers in the first half of the season, will it really be because they couldn’t celebrate with the fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's answer. I Liverpool sign someone or not, but don't have the same determination, cutting edge, drive as last season, and finish say third, the we will know the reason why.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this a wum or does 52 actually believe this tripe?

I thought 52 was a reasonable member of the United board. Can somebody explain this as he's about to go in the same box as Morespunk.

Liverpool famously lost momentum in 2014 and 2018.

It could quite easily happen again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. Why did Liverpool lose momentum on those occasions? Was it because they couldn't celebrate with the fans?

They lost momentum mostly because they lost top players and/or didn't strengthen the squad.

This article has to be bookmarked. If ever there was an Idiosyncratic article then this is it.

If you need an example of how thick people act on social media, this article isnt too bad. We should be making the news here. This is another level of stupid.

Congratulations to the OP and 52.
