"Was that the one with the r4pey slogan?

‘Persistence beats resistance’

How’d that go anyway?"

Lauders.. Caley couldn't afford to keep most of their youth products on the books. Many have been punted "on loan" but they're all destined for the boot.

They've got very little sponsorship coming in and ticket sales are laughable.

They'll be bust within a year I reckon.

ICT defending their man.

Weirdly, Dunfermline and Brechin day they have evidence to back up their statements. ICT-not so much.

To an extent, that’s clearly true.

But if one side can back up their statements with evidence, then it leaves the onus on the other side to do the same, and that lets others make a more balanced assessment.

I’m talking about fans. Like me.

The clubs have apparently all voted now, and we’ll find out at 3 if they feel that it needs taken further and by what method.

Just because you shout very loudly that you want an independent inquiry doesn’t mean it should happen. If you want one, and say you have a dossier of evidence which actually doesn’t provide any evidence, you undermine your stance quite a bit.

The daily record reckon Livi have voted for the investigation.

There's no chance of the vote passing. But will be interesting how many back it that backed ending the season also.

Is this the same as the vote before, once yes you're yes for life but no can be changed later?

I think so. This is from the record live updates:

‘ Peter Lawwell is believed to have made a rousing speech during the meeting that has now ended.

As we revealed earlier, Livingston were unsure of which way they were going to go.

And despite Lawwell’s address and other impressive contributions, it’s believed they decided an independent probe must happen.’

I think a vote will happen

All the shouting by rangers will have peaked some curiosity.

I suspect that someone will be getting hauled over the coals by the end of it. Either the SPFL board or Rangers and ICT

Either way 9IAR will be celebrated

It actually sounds like there is serious appetite for the investigation.

Surprised at that from a clubs perspective but it's wholly welcome as it means once it has happened then hopefully the perpetrators are removed and we can move on swiftly.

See - this is probably not the best outcome either - unless there is 'corruption' at play. Which i don't believe there is either.

IMHO there'll be some gaps in governance which need to be addressed and maybe a bit of dysfunction (RmK?) but other than that maybe we shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water.

If you clear house every time you use an independent means to hold yourselves to account then that could be equally as damaging as you are not seeing through any identified improvements.

i don't think there is any corruption, i think they are just a bit schite.

somehow this might go ahead despite rangers claiming to have something big and then coming up short.

it's a waste of money just now i believe

Apparently Lawwell was given a round of applause after he belted out fields of athenry.

The SPFL board then let the other clubs join the meeting.
