I'm not sending my.youngest back no way , not.unless I can get a 100 % guarantee of his safety.
With regards to football as long as everyone at the match is tested and passed clear then I don't see a problem.
I fully expect the virus to peak back up in another two weeks .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Edward, good for you. But commonsense should tell you that if football has to be played behind closed doors, then that should tell you it aint safe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Behind closed doors" is essentially no fans.
Kids might be immune or asymptomatic, my concern would be primarily with their teachers and support staff and also with the school run, parents who cannot get to and from the school without using the bus/tube 4 times a day.

And once again sandy, footballers aren't taking tests away from key workers. The NHS choose not to use the testing machines that football clubs have bought. Its not like they've stolen it from them. Why do you keep ignoring that.

This is something that every labour supporter conveniently ignores.

And every Tory voter ignores what a complete mess their party of made of this Pandemic.

I only ask as it’s a difficult thing to tackle. Public transport by nature and at its most efficient takes a lot of people at one time from A to B. And that is incredibly useful/essential in any urban area. Other than provisions such as cleaning the transport periodically and wearing masks I don’t know what else you could do.
You could limit people on public transport but I think this of course impacts on the intrinsic efficiency of public transport systems and if it is done too much it almost makes the whole point of public transport negated, and difficult to regulate on tube (more easily on bus and maybe train).
