The problems with Only Fools and Horses is;

1) there is a massive gap between how many episodes there are and how many truly funny jokes there are in it.

We all know the best jokes the series has to offer, batman and Robin, falling through the bar and the chandelier joke, however those are too far spread out over the rest of the episodes.

2) it didnt end when it should have, we all know it should have ended when they got rich, but they then had to milk it more and it just destroyed the whole premise of the show.

There are truly funny jokes in every episode.
And not just jokes, just the mannerisms of some of the characters are funny (especially uncle Albert).

You have just listed 3 big visual jokes, but there are many more subtle funny moments every episode.

Exactly this. They’d built up to sone superb gigantic Plot driven jokes but there was literally loads of fantastic jokes in every episode.Genius writing.

Apart from the last series, every episode had at least on moment of comical genius.

Went down hill when Del's son became a 'character'.

Yeah he was annoying, but those episodes still were pretty funny. The millionaire trio were my favorites of all tine.

Always preferred the more subtle moments in OFAH, like the banter between the characters and Grandadand Trigger's stupidity.

The Wendy house line from granddad is a classic - certainly not just storylines that were funny in that show.

Absolute classic that. There was a Wendy house in our go practice and chuckled to myself every time I saw it

Albert mixing Up gravy with coffee.
‘Would you like some gravy Albert?
Albert:’no...I..’
Del:’ oh yes he’ll have some, he loves his gravy don’t you Albert?(git)’

The chandeliers episode is still the best.

Asking a Trotter if he knows anything about chandeliers is like asking Mr Kipling if he knows anything about cakes.

When is smashes and the Butler says you've broken it only for Del to say, what do you know about chandeliers?
