Just before I get jumped on for being Lee Clark's dad I was very disappointed that he publicly criticised Jamie Mac, I have always believed united front to the outside world and bol lock internally, for me though he doesn't seem to trust Cooper and lost patience with PC, I bet he wants to bring another one in on loan but dare not as that would be disrespectful to PC who he obviously rates as a man.

we are accused of being too negative..unsuprisingly over the last couple of seasons i and others dont think we are nearly as negative as lee clark..
fed up of trying to "sneak the point(s)"..
fed up of watching town lose leads due to negative approaches and the team switching off when the ball goes dead..

fed up of watching pro footballers get caught ball watching..

fed up of town using one tactic in a game and failing to change or alter that approach wether it works or fails badly..

fed up of not seeing mcdermott even on the bench whilst tommy miller is sitting there, its ludicrous..

fed up of watching gobern play little or no part in 90 minutes of football, only for him to be picked again..
clark has to change what gobern does or change the player..

fed up of watching town struggle for long periods in games where we produce nothing in the way of attacking football..

fed up of false dawns where we play as we bloody know we can only for it to be followed by kick and rush or everyman in your own half and try to bore the opposition into losing the game..

as i said at the time if we had really gone for the game at old trafford, i think we would have traded goals with peterborough and could have won it.. we just let the game go and hoped to get something at some point and it all went wrong..

if clark wants me and others to be positive he has got to start it himself..

I dont blame Clark for saturday's game, the players must take an awful lot of criticism for that! Yes, McCoombe badly let them down but if the team showed abit more courage and desire, something Clark bangs on about all the time, we should have seen the game out with 3 points!

Im not having this 'negative' tactics as im pretty sure Clark doesnt tell them to defend all game and not be expressive. If he does, then his a hypocrite!

He always talks about how he wants the lads to express themselves and play to entertain in his pre match conferences. They do do this at away games but not at home games? Why is this? Is it the Galpharm curse? Is it the crowd???

I dont know personally, but whatever it is, it needs sorting immediately as we are not going to win promotion if we dont win our home games!

clark hasnt guided the team through anything other than leading them to a failure at millwall and old trafford..

the team either plays or it does not.. im still of the opinion that clark alters very little in the way of performance.

the unbeaten run says more about the opposition than it does about us.. although i do think we could and probably should have lost about a third of the games that ended in a draw..

luck than good management??? certainly luck has to be a big factor, anyone who actually saw those games would never deny it..

Jimbo, the negative tactics are there for you to see and all to protect the damned record. Its a shackle around the players necks which ultimately stems from Clark. They don't express themselves in any way bar 1 person, Jack Hunt who chooses to ignore him and plays football how I think the majority of us want to see.

Sorry guys, just want to add option H) to that. This option is what Clark should be employing going in to every single game. H stands for HIGH tempo aggressive football. Attack Attack Attack. Fu£k yer record Clark, tear these shi£ house teams up and prove to us that what you've bought are far better than a Bury, Rochdale or Leyton Orient player. Chris Powell doesn't seem to have a problem against them. Why's that !!!!!

powell is managing in the now and clark is thinking about his future, not ours..

whatever happens , if he can get another few games unbeaten, he will get a job further up the league..they will look at the run, like town fans who didnt actually watch the games and see something that isnt there..

deans money has bought the run, be honest if you spend what we have you really shouldnt expect to get beat in a whole season more than 2-3 times, but you may also not expect to surrender so many good leads and draw so many..

lord knows how much dean would have to spend for clark to turn a number of those draws into wins.. clark would have put the brakes on ricky lamberts career, no doubts on that..

Something to add to that as well 38. Footballs supposed to be fun, an entertainment, a simple pleasure in life. What it ain't is complex, mechanical, or taxing. Just plain old simplicity. At the moment Clark has taken my enjoyment out of watching them. I wouldn't not ever stop going but it is starting to pi££ me off

Totally off subject but a player has gone out on loan today.

football is mainly about winning..

the aim for our team at this precise moment in time is to win football matches.. in the preparation and from the first whistle to the last..

the money spent almost demands it..

draws are something that happens because of events during the game and nowithstanding a good performance from the opposition..

they are not the aim, before or during the match.. we should always look to win the game wether we are winning, drawing or even losing!!!!

the first halves at sheff utd and mk dons were exciting because town played as we know they can.. and in truth should have brought us a well deserved 6 points... even at 1-1 at mk we looked more likely to score again..

i just cant work out why its so few and far between..

And to think all this doom because we drawn a game thank good we didn't lose because if we did this place would of shut down for causing too many deafs by suicide.

its because we lost rhe most important match out of all of them at old trafford and because all 35 dont count unless we win something..

So 38, if you are not satisfied with this performance, which if maintained, would guarantee us over 92 points and almost certain auto promotion, I suggest you change your allegiance to someone like Bradford City, then you would have something genuine to continually moan about.

Lets face it. you've never accepted Clark since day one and when he finally gets us promoted, no doubt you'll say it was nowt to do with him and everything to do with Hoyley's money or't playing surface at the Galph.
