Black or brown or yellow etc..,has never been a massive problem in Scotland it’s there and there are wrong uns in that respect but our problem has always been sectarian and is that a race issue probably, catholic’s need not apply, oo oppressive walks, apprentice boys being told they should be proud of killing catholic people, Republican marchers wallowing in the death of unionists and so on ... we need to sort this before we even begin to look at black lives matter 👍

If you're interested, Chris Rock does a great commentary on the difference between 'Black people and N-s'.
It's a bit of a difference though as he is a POC and it's his own experience he's talking about. And also it's more about socio-economic factors rather than racial slurs. Although I suppose he does link the two.
Bit controversial is Chris Rock. But very funny.

Absolutely I accept there is bad on both sides, not ignorant of it, a lot of so called patriot freedom fighters and republicans became no more than self centred politicians and drug dealers as well as arms dealers. I read up on UK BLM, as No supporters here bothered to and could not Tell me what their new found BLM UK wanted.

The group called BLM seek to dismantle capitalism, prisons, police and armed forces and do away with all borders...so SNP and Indy No More lol

BLM say Tory govt hiring a Pakistani female was "racist" ....as they do with Climate Change saying it is racist, as a black person will die before they can fly.

Churchill is labelled, staunchly racist" by BLM in case people wonder where Winston and statue obsession comes from.

Even the suffragettes get the race abuse treatment from BLM, who claim suffragettes were into "white poeer".

BLM received one million quid from 34k UK donors in recent weeks, but BLM are shy about who leads or speaks for them, so money is going where, lol?

BLM allegedly have neo Marxist dudes in the background and from their UK bonkers policies, it seems to be a valid call.

Trying to plant racial American politics in Glasgow or Belfast or the UK generally is delusional.

1.not sure your source on that but as you say BLM UK is a growing movement and is still very young in its organisation phase but looking at a page i have found.

Tbh i and many posters have made similar comments on here about our country being gamed for the elite and our current capitalist structure being a big part of that. Seems like quite sensible aims to me.

2. who is it? what has been their voting track record on things like austerity policies, was she involved in any of the windrush stuff? has she been involved in any of the previous government reviews on equality and racism issues that have seen little to no recommendations introduced? Did she push for any of these to be implemented or opposed them? THere is a bit of a lack of info in your point.

3 he kind of was? deserves credit for wartime leadership but i will be honest im quite shocked and appalled having recently read up on some of his opinions

4 again source would maybe be good, if true that they disagree with the movement then that's poor. Although like any movements suffragettes supported other causes and unfortunately there were examples of some branches supporting supremacy.

Here is a comment from them though that highlights the other groups they support where they mention womens rights among others

Dont disagree that more accountability would be good but maybe they are struggling to find a figurehead that wouldn't have their lives destroyed by the backlash?

6 im sure there is a wide range of political ideology. I am not sure i buy this threat though that we are all under from neo marxist and antifa. All seems a bit ridiculous, im probably far more scared of the damage austerity has caused

7 its not american politics its world wide. although again the movement could probably benefit from focusing more on the UK specific issues and perhaps tweak some of their responses. Hopefully they will continue to learn that.

For example im not quite sure we need to go as far as abolishing the current police and prison system in the UK (absolutely required in the US if you ask me)

I think starting with education and reform in the UK would be a start but again i believe in the UK that is their stance although they don't rule out campaigning for they abolition and replacement of current police and prison systems they state they are working to train, educate and reform within the current system. SO again they do seem to be making an adjustment for the UK.
