It’s more relief than celebration.

Getting promoted shouldn’t be seen as success, should have been a gimme years ago

Maybe not for you, but first season I got into football and started going to games, Leeds were relegated from the Championship. I've never known Leeds as a PL team, only even challenged for it once and that was last year, for me this is a celebration and a big one

Get where LIW is coming from but 16 years is a long time and until bielsa came one wondered whether we would ever be a top flight side again. Huge celebrations for me and I just want to run on the pitch and hug everybody

When you consider how badly we were run as a club for years and years its not surprising its taken as long as it had

Can’t help but feel a little robbed of the chance to celebrate to be honest!

But I’d take it regardless. Prob won’t be tempted will find my own way somehow

Very much feel your pain. You're so happy that something you've yearned for has finally happened but it feels snatched away from you.

Because of the inevitability of us winning the title and the huge delay it just felt a bit surreal.

I'm tempted but I'm thinking celebrations might feel a bit flat. Just imaging driving there and feel a bit 'meh' once I'm there.

Not gonna be the same without being in the ground, players and fans going mad, us all serenading Bielsa and the players.

Would love to be there, but stuck in US.
And due to an idiot in the WH, we're not
allowed to fly to Europe. Not fussed.

Will still be going mental when it's done.

Just realised I was 23 when we went down. Didn’t think I’d be nearly 40 before we got back.

Maybe am being abit harsh, and I did nearly kill the baby when we scored the winner today, I was that excited 🤦🤦.

I’d love to go on a week bender but am just happy we’ve done it

not with our owners and managers.
with bielsa i thought we had a real chance, not even the specialist in promotion warnock could get us up. (didn't think he would )

So the last decade has been all your fault!!

Stay at home next time and watch the highlights

If we get there I hope you drink in every drop of the Leeds in the Premiership!

Good point LIW. We should have been up years ago. Even last year we should have done it.

Sorry lads!

In my defence, my first away game was Old Trafford in 2010 so can't be that bad luck!

My son was 10 months old when we were relegated from the PL, he’s never seen Leeds in the PL. I always allowed him to make up his mind about football as my dad did. My dad supported Wolves, living in South Wales, unfortunately my son supports Baadiff so, I will love him seeing us in the PL, fingers crossed 🤞

I was 21 & working abroad in a bar the day we went down, I can’t tell you how far away my life is now from that one 😂 it’s been a long haul and I’ve watched some absolute shambles on that pitch, this manager will win us a proper trophy.

I agree with liw, it’s more a relief than a celebration, but I was around to see us win the league and watched us away in the champions league in time & Madrid

Needs to be an open top bus round Leeds ….. something, anything. Round the ground would be too condensed - have fans round the streets, while still in a crowd, would at least spread them out a bit.

Gutted we'll not be there when we make it …… as will the players, staff and the whole club. Such a shame this sh111t is happening right now …..
