Looks like the Bristol City rumours might have something to do with it. I think we'll get Lee Johnson, it'll be a manager swap.

Cowley is 6/1 for the Watford job and 7/4 in for the Bristol City job. The Bristol job was rumoured a few days ago, I wonder if they went and had talks and Phil found out.

The Cowley's are lower league managers...they would never achieve anything with Town... better off back at Lincoln playing the kick and rush stuff!
Can't believe Watford would have any interest in them whatsoever
It would make sense for Town to go for Leed's under 23 boss, Bromby used to play for Leeds, he's probably seen and liked the style that they play and has said to the powers that be that it would be a cheap/er gamble.
You could do a lot worse, he's adopted Bielsa's style into the under 23's and you most likely end up with a team based around fitness and being able to press for 90 mins. With the players you have, you shouldn't have been battling relegation, he's been in the dug out most games and heavily involved with Bielsa and the first team.
He's a big win for hudds.
