I read this morning that Defoe tops the goals per minute charts in Scotland for last season
Defoe 77
Eduoard 96
Griffiths 98
Morelos 137
Christie 144
Heard a wee rumour that Christie is stalling in signing a new contract
Better for Celtic if he stays at Rangers.
The only issue for Rangers and their fans is obviously the fee, £20M+ and they will be satisfied, £15M or less and I suspect they will be disappointed.
There's been loads of speculation about Alfie so I'll wait and see.

Christie is not a striker so take him out of that.
Griff and Defoe are invariably subs so take them out too as it is meaningless.

Who can blame anyone?
If anything showed up the entire disparity between our top league and even England’s Championship is was about how they could all afford to work through this and look after their players.
I reckon this deal could be enough to let rangers bring in a couple of striker. Dykes and Kamberi...
No idea what the transfer fee will be undisclosed as. Probably between the £15-20 million mark, which is pretty good taking everything into consideration.

I won’t argue over what the fee might be (if this is even true of course) but I’d think Lille will be in the driving seat here.
Already agreed player terms. Player would clearly want to leave. So what do Rangers do if Lille lowball them?
Smacks of the last few days Dembele scenario to me.
Again, if this is true.
Assuming he goes all about how well they spend the fee on replacement (s).
Read a snippet this morning that we're talking to Peterborough about Toney. They've accepted an offer from Brentford for him but he's probably hedging his bets until he sees how they get on in the play offs

Toney would be an excellent signing, just can't see it happening
Can’t see Lille spending more than £10-£12 million on him personally but might be a bigger sell on as part of it.

The virtual season pass kicks in today, interesting to see how it holds up. I think it’ll crash like fluck

They're loaded and have spent more on others, it'll be interesting to see what he does eventually go for, I'd imagine £15M with a 10% sell on.
I can tell you exclusively right now what the fee will be.
Undisclosed.

Comes from a French journo. Maybe they're not as bad as our journos but they're still journos.

It's being widely reported now so it looks like it's true. I'm delighted because despite everything he is a good player and better than anyone they are likely to get in to replace him.
