I'm certainly not having a go at Wolves here.. i like the way they play... just offering some perspective.

they have just as much financial muscle as us i would say, due to how they are backed.. so should soon be considered a big club. i don't think they are going anywhere.

If they win a trophy before us which they could do this season then that would be quite damning. It would only emphasise the need for us to win something next season.

If Wolves win the EL then there will be 5 teams from the premier league in the CL next season.

8 teams from the PL in Europe next season.

Whatever happens Spurs will at least be in the qualifying rounds for next seasons Europa league.

Now that the league is done and dusted, and we have winner Jose in, Spurs will be looking at a clean sweep of trophies next season, which I fully expect
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's take it small steps at a time, try and get to 5th in the league next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
4th place beckons surely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
May the 4th be with Mou

Mourinho done quite well to get us into Europe tbh considering the absolute mess of a team that we were when he came, and to be honest continued to be for most of the season.

all i hear is how great wolves are, and we finished above them.

He’s done an adequate job.

Tottenham will do well next season under Mourinho, it feels like the squad finally bought into it by the time lockdown was lifted.

The Wolves praise this season has been very OTT.

They're a bit of an over rated side.

Not without some serious surgery on that squad we won't. Full backs, DM and back up striker needed at the very least

It would help if he was heavily backed but the reality is he probably won't get much of a budget. I still think Spurs will improve next season.

Quadruples all round Palmers
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why not Irish

On a serious note though, if Jose can make us more solid like he has done in the last few games of this season, I do think we can win the EL

This is incorrect. England is only allowed seven teams in Europe. If Arsenal win the FA Cup and Wolves win the Europa then Spurs won’t be playing in Europe.

Yeah this debate does seem to be going on a bit!

They are wrong. This is the premier league website. Key line: The maximum number of English teams in UEFA competitions is seven.

Yeah I’ve read that, but it says subject to change. Unusual for some places saying otherwise when the rules are there for everyone to see.

Imran

Stop wumming🙄

The only downside for us is if Arsenal win the FA cup, because that would mean us having to play a single 2nd round qualifier. Wolves would miss out on EL qualification if they did not win the EL and Arsenal won the FA Cup. Arsenal would then go into the group stages. If Arsenal lose to Chelsea, then Spurs go straight into the group stages. Not too difficult to understand really

Our place is guaranteed whatever happens.

posted on 27/7/20

I’m not wumming. The premier league has never been allowed more than seven teams in Europe.

I doubt it’ll matter anyway. Can’t see Wolves winning the Europa. Chelsea will probably win the cup as well.
