We have a fixture list that looks like 8 games in 18 days..Mind boggles
We don't have a squad big enough to handle this many games...After the 4th games, I can see injuries mounting up and we losing few games because of sheer tiredness?

BAck to players chasing shadows, and endless sideways passes and back passes.
This must because of our Academy? Fkn it must drilled into the players you look good when you pass back
We are going to be doing just fine in mid-table
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Btw this is a bad opinion
I thought that was a really good workout, and some of our youngsters finally look really decent. Jose has certainly already started to make his mark. He even has 16 year olds believing they can go a long way.
Cirkin I was particularly impressed with, he seemed absolutely comfortable on the ball.
Jose got it spot on, unlike our previous manager. Put out a reasonably strong XI in games like this, put the game to bed before half-time then you can bring on the youngsters. I expect the same in Europa Cup qualifiers. Start strong, get the game sorted by H/T, then make changes.
Jose is going to take Spurs to the promised land 100 per cent.

WTF are you talking about Spurs have about 40 players all capable of playing, how many do you want 100. Even today Spurs used nearly two teams, and still have Kane, Bergwijn, Sissoko, Aurier still to come back in.

Nah unless Sessignon did not score the 1st goal. Did Son score all three goals?

If we had that many decent players we wouldn't be in the state we are now. Flogging some dead woods!
Most of the players you are thinking off are either not ready yet or won't match up to the top clubs in the league.
We have a core of less than 10 decent players and when you start looking at the bench maybe another 2/3 players and that's it. I am not counting the keeper. How's this enough for a season where we have so many games?
Cirkin will be Europa LB though qualifying and group stages i would imagine. He is a real prospect.
If we had another 3-4 quality players, then yes we could put out two decent teams that would challenge for things. Right now, we are even struggling with one decent team
No decent FBs, and no decent striker cover.

Really impressed me that lad.
yeah we are relying on youth for the cover tbf and we have enough players, theres just a significant contrast to our fringe quality and absolute starters, so if fringe players are given the reigns then there is a worry we could not get over the line in the EL games and league cup ones.

KJ's thoughts
Swear Sandy was saying we needed a rebuild 2 months ago and Jose needed to build his own side to have a proper chance
Now though we have a 40 man juggernaut of a squad that is ready to go to the promise land
Can't argue with that kind of impact from Hart and hojbjerg

Are you wumming us Sandy?
Seriously? We won't make top 4 without some more additions, specially at FBs. Cirkin impressed me but against a better quality opposition, it would be unfair to pitch him? He'll get slaughtered!
Same with Devine and Gedson.
I know Hojberg isn't too bad, but he ain't going to solve all our problems
I expect us to sign a RB and striker. Probably not before the start of the season though.
Have to shift some foreign players first cause we are already on the limit for Europe. Otherwise we will be resorting to overspending on average english players.
Mind you, if Cirkin impresses like this at the next two games, he should start before Davies. Let's see if Jose is flexible to see the need for us to have a LB that can get forward, not just a safe player like Davies.
Sessegnon looked a bit "beefed" up to me...Has anyone else notice this? Been working out that lad!
Looks genuinely one that could excite us! Has potential this lad.
you get 17 for EL and the prem i believe (Davies doesnt count in the EL )
Lloris
Gazzaniga
Toby
Sanchez
Dier
Son
Lamela
Sissoko
Lo Celso
Ndombele
Bergwijn
Aurier
Lucas
Davies
Hojbjerg
Foyth
Gedson
Take away Aurier...likely leaving. Lamela, half of the season, likely to be injured. Lloris/Gazza that's one position only, Foyth hardly playing for us and my leave, add Kane (injury from January is almost guaranteed) then you can see we need more players.
Apologies for my gobbledegook!
next 2 or 3 windows(incl this summer) outs - Aurier, Lamela, Foyth(would prefer a loan for him now and see how he does then sell), Sissoko and Gazzaniga
leaving room for the needed quality ins: RB, ST, LB, LCB, CM, GK
