SSN had it on the bottom of the screen for the last 20 mins but they only just talked about it. Advanced stage, so could be done by tomorrow. The Croatian Gvardiol rejected Leeds as his destination so i assume the club have gone straight for a quick replacement and it just took off.
Croatian lad was a huge risk at 18 and unproven and inexperienced
Sort of signing you make if you have money to burn and look to fast track
No guarantee with this lad but a decent age, plays CD and DM and a Spanish international
Much more logical for now and means we have 3 ready defenders fighting for 2 places then Struijk as a 4th choice and cover DM. Feels a lot more balanced a squad now

this waiting for signings is way more stressful then the games themselves.
if these two, llorente and de paul are signed this team will be able to compete for a european spot imo.

Luke Murphy - is he still available?
He's had 21 goals in 161 appearances for his current club (Barcelona? Real Madrid? - not sure) which is a pretty good haul for a midfielder!
Snap him up now!!
Murphy joined someone in the non league this summer I believe. Sloth joined non league Notts County too.
Murphy gone back to Crewe in League One, hasn't he? Non-league a massive exaggeration!
Llorente wouldn't be signed to be 3rd choice. Think he would want to start. Curious.
We were linked with him a year ago. A ball playing CB. The only doubts I have is the physicality.

He was our first 7-figure signing in a number of years and the first of many from those mega rich Arabs GFH
I saw glimpses of what Luke Murphy could have been when he played for us. I wonder whether Bielsa could have made him into a better player?
Our current squad should be praising MB for the rest of their careers for adding so much to their prospects.

I guess if Leeds aren't Hay's main focus, he's not going to be given preferential status and inside info by the club. Used to hang on his every word in the 'old days'! Still speaks sense tho!
In the Championship I got the extended highlights after games no problem with LUTV!..
But now they want me to pay for them!..
So Hay more than likely gets less now then in the Championship!..
Or he's getting lazy as time goes on!..
And I'll look at the Highlights when I get them on my Handy!..
