i was about to agree with you on the domestic draws, question that on the CL draws, and top it all off with a joke about how this proves that UEFA hate them.
but actually, looking at their CL draws over the past 2-3 years, they do have an uncanny knack of getting consistently favourable group and knockout draws against lesser teams (though those lesser teams - lyon, spurs - are also the ones knocking them out).

Seem to recall an article last year that roundly disproved that theory.

Zenit won the Russian league = Pot 1!

thanks...i suppose that now that the CL is open to 3-4 teams from some countries, that is one way to reward actual league champions..lucky old zenit (and poor old atalanta)
United can have:
- Porto, so Bruno and Lindelof can enjoying beating them twice
- Leipzig, for Upamecano’s homecoming/ punishment for not joining us
- Midgetland, to show LVG how it’s done

Want 3 tough teams. As we ain’t winning the CL so we might as well have some fun teams to play against rather than the boring types we usually come up against in the Europa.
Last seasons Europa group..
AZ Alkmaar
Partisan Belgrade
Astana
Yeah, please can we have Bayern, Inter and Marseille.
pot 3 is the pot to look at not pot 2.
in the end the "seeded" teams need to get 1st or 2nd and go form there
you don't want a group of death
Pot three: RB Leipzig, Internazionale, Lazio, Atalanta.
Pot four: Borussia Mönchengladbach, Rennes
Pot 4 shoudn't be a big worry to anyone. Its reall about avoiding inter and leipzig for me.

Worst case would be:

true, but that only gets you to QF.
I don't care who we get out of pot 2, its all about pot 3 for me.
I would however REALLY like with the fixtures we have to avoid long flights to odd places that take no care of corona. We will be really exposed
