He’s the new Benkovic.
High hopes for him.
I guess we don’t know but he’s massively highly rated and it’s whether he’ll fulfil his potential or not.
Needs to work to displace our best centre back Amartey first.
Ps.
Big Wes, Little Wes, Penalty Box.

Puel. What a.....
Any news on unders International permit
Or hints of other signings /loans
"Little Wes" may well turn out to be ironic. I hear the lad's about 6 foot 5.
He hasn't played many senior matches, and is only 19. I have seen a helpfully-prepared video of him though, which demonstrates a good amount of ability. He's strong, aggressive, aerially dominant and cool on the ball. Looks to have decent positional sense for a 19 year old as well. He looks to me like a rough diamond that needs polishing, particularly along the lines of not diving in inside the box - he could be a walking penalty in the Prem if he's not careful. But he has said he wants to come and learn from the coaches and the current players. And if he does that then he looks like he has the attributes needed to go far in the game.
As for other signings, I'm doubtful. We've done business of a RW and a CB, which were the priorities for me. Plus we've replaced Chilwell, which became a priority. I reckon the only other transfers we're likely to see will be outwards - players we're happy to leave.
Happy to leave where Dunge?
God forbid he's the new 'made of glass' Benkovic!
We still need a winger and - mission impossible - an adequate Vardy replacement.
‘ Lil Wes’ is supposed to be good in the air which is what we really lack. Man City scored three times from set pieces. ( Two corners and one fk.) Yes the fk was disallowed but still. We are useless at corners both ends..... Maybe he can add a threat in the opposing box too?
I don't see any more money being spent in this window though. We have Barnes, Perez, Albrighton and now Under as wingers, plus Gray if we can't offload him in the next few days, and Ricardo can potentially play further forward as well. I really can't see us buying another winger.
As for an adequate Vardy replacement, that ain't happening any time soon, and particularly when money is tight. It's Iheanacho, Perez or Barnes and we're living with it.
I think we as a club are in denile over Vardy.... One bad injury and he may not be the same. This must be the next signing or we could use Big Wes as he has been known to play up front on occasion. Lol

Rumours on the Beeb, confirmed by Bilic that West Brom are interested in Slimani 🤞🍀🚖
Crazily enough, he stands a chance of being a great signing for them.
Although he could equally be a dressing-room-busting terrible signing for them.
He’s scored goals in France. Don’t know why he doesn’t just go there and be done with it.
He’s not a bad player. Just all indications suggest he’s not a great team player.
