Why is Mata playing though?

Mata in a pass and move team would be fantastic tbf.

We have creative players but no movement

Matas a player who should be settling down in China.
Not playing Everton, a team floating around the top of the premier league.
I guess we'll find out in 12 minutes.

Have to agree, as much as I love him, he was getting brushed off so easily even against the Turkish side it was embarrassing at times.

He’s still got some great moments in him at times though, so hopefully we see those today.

I'll enjoy it better if we win though!

So Ole is going for his tired and tested counter attack.
Ride the wave, Everton will leave gaps, and hopefully we will execute.
But let’s cut the crap. This is defensive.
Now that we are a few games in, we can see that there is a weakness in mentality.
Lack of Intensity, lack of concentration, leading to lack of quality and, bad decisions.

a) No. Doesn’t happen to McT, Fred or Matic as much as it does most other PL CMs.

No I don’t think McT does, nor Fred tbh he just loses it through his awful passing.

Pogba is as easily dispossessed as Mata though which is poor for his size.

lets hope the lads turn up for Ole right now

Happens with Pogba more often because he takes much more time on the ball and welcomes the challenges.
