Harry Gregg was a good keeper and a great man.

I notice that the new Mansfield manager is doing a great job, 3 wins in a week after no wins before. I wish I could remember his name cuz he would have been a good choice for us.

But that was when the Romans were still in charge.

I wonder if they’ll do a Twitter tease: ‘talks are almost finished with our new manager, can you guess who’?

No bets being taken on him with Paddy Power.

Rooney 6/5
Terry 17/10
Rafa 7/2 - Yes please.

That is interesting but possibly not the right job for him ?!?

The Benitez suggestion is crazy - he won't come to us considering how much he'd be paid out in China. Why don't we ask for Arsene Wenger if we're going for fantasy.

Some of the names linked are bonkers and worrying too....

John Gregory has been mentioned (Not as manager)
Di Matteo

Be very happy with a Nuno Espírito Santo II , top bloke, charismatic, good football. Maybe we need to be looking at Portuguese managers if the board are looking for another continental coach.

Also, are we going to halt our poor run of form with a much needed win on Sat vs Bristol City?

You would wonder why as a Welshman he would leave Swansea and come to us. He isn't very high in other betting sites. I wonder who 32Red have as favourite.

Cooper would be a better choice than some I've seen mentioned....Gregory!!! Pearson!!!!! Terry!!

If you get Wayne Rooney as manager then the club may as well completely re-brand as: Wayne Rooney’s Derby County

posted on 16/11/20

We've only just changed our name from Frank Lampard's Derby County. Please don't confuse us.

I think Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Derby County will catch on.

Chris Hughton?

It would be easy to entice him from his present club - which he hates - and it would be sooooooo funny.

Usually enjoy reading your stuff, and I know it is an attempt at a wind up, but oh dear sometimes you do let yourself down.

You should stick to the straight stuff and let others who are better qualfied try to wind us up.
