It's not as if they have to come through miles of snow-clogged country roads. It's a straight shot up the bl00dy M6 which will have been gritted and cleared.
Why do people use the ‘been told by a good source’ line instead of just admitting its complete bollox they have either made up or read on Twitter. Is it just in the hope that if by chance it turns out to be correct we’d all think they have inside info for future articles, or just for attention?

Old Trafford has underground heating for the pitch
given there are no fans anyway, it would take an astronomical amount of snow to get the match cancelled
To be fair id bet Ole would love for it to be called off, so the players get a mini break. But it would just be kicking the can down the street, we already have to squeeze in Burnley later, a second game would just clog up another period
