Just finished watching Scarface on Sky Movies, what a classic!!

ooh, that reminds me, once upon a time in america

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I love a good gangster movie. But never seen OUATIA. Mainly because it's like 4 hours long, isn't it? Much as I'd like to watch it, I have the concentration span of a goldfish
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is very good but just long and slow in parts, some absolutely brilliant scenes in it though.

Maybe think of it as two moves and split it in half over two watches.

Twice Upon a Time in America

The Thing! How could I forget, what a movie.

Guilty pleasure movie is Superman 4 the quedt for peace, its so badly made and cheesy, great fun.

Couldn’t afford to shoot it in New York.

Went to Milton Keynes instead and put a few hot dog sellers and people wearing I heart NY shirts in.

Bingo! Time square.

Jaws the revenge!!!
How? How, did Ellen Brody have flashbacks of Chief Brody killing the Shark in Jaws? She wasn’t bloody there! She ran off in tears, when the Orca left port!

That was just a cheap, insert edit to get us going...
and Michael Caine’s perm peed me off...

Oh man Superman 4.
Me and my mates took 3hrs to get through that mess.
We had shots every time superman flew towards the camera.
5 mins in, we’ve already had 3 shots, and absolutely smashed, and we kept pausing going back over foolishness.
You ever noticed when Lex Luthor (whose hair has grown back somehow) Zoom calls Clark Kent from Times Square, you’ll notice everytime they cut back to Lex and the wide-shot of the surrounding traffic and pedestrians, it’s the same damn shot replayed over and over.
Cheap gits

There’s a great doc about the fellas that bought Canon, Golan Globus, who made all of the cheapest and worst Hollywood fare of the 80s.

Superman 4, madters of the universe, over the top, all the crap. They were great.

Also the 80s for me is eddie murphy at his best. You could do a night alone just on his 80s stuff with trading places, coming to america, beverley hills cop and 48hrs.

Some of my favourites would be

Die Hard, Raiders Of The Lost Arc, PT&Automobiles, Lethal Weapon, Dirty Dancing (I know!), Chariots Of Fire, Trading Places, Untouchables, Stand By Me, top Gun, Rain Man.

Blue Velvet would be high on the list I would like to see Glory and Rainman again.

Cocktail and Gremlins for a bit of fun. And as above guilty pleasures Dirty Dancing. Very easy to view at the moment and the soundtrack is stellar.

I see people have mentioned some so-bad-they're-good movies like Superman 4 and Jaws 4. I recommend Mac and Me. A rip off of E.T. brought to you by McDonald's.

remember that. Got it on VHS back in the day. Dad made us watch it a couple of times before returning so we got value for money

Forgot First Blood. I was never a fan of the sequels but this was a terrific film.
