Banter era performance to celebrate banter era signing Jorginho

They have been very physical with us in MF

Typical new manager bounce.

As long as we dont get behind their defense we wont score. Sloppy passing all around and we have no answer to their physicality. They dominating the midfield.

Get Tierney on for Xhaka and let Zinny go into midfield.

As a team we've played well and controlled the ball, Everton are pressing hard and being very physical so they're capitalizing on our sloppy individual play at times

This is a typical away game in a compact ground. a tight win will be ok. They are doubling on Mart/Saka so the free men are Ode and Xhaka who both need to do better.

Everton best performance this season, was expected. We’ve not been brilliant but to keep it at 0-0 at HT is good so far. 2nd half we can turn it on, Everton can’t keep this up for whole 90.

Need to get Vieira or trossard on at around 60 mins. Maybe even both.

Going forward we arent winning duels. Not Saka and and not Martinelli. Really needs to change that second half.

Ode is definitely not free. Had someone up his 'arris the whole game, and kicked every time he has got the ball.

When the ball goes on that side, Xhaka is free and when its on Marti's side, Ode is free.

We aren't switching play quickly enough.

Need to see more from Martinelli, Saka has done ok considering we haven't seen much overlapping from White. Hard for Nketiah but he's got to improve his movement, not offering much, should have at least hit the target with that chance.

We don't overlap as a tactic.

Xhaka, Ziny and Partey need all up their game. They have been poor and sloppy so far.

yes, just once, but the ball wasn't very good

We don't generally overlap with fullbacks. We do build overloads by using Ode and Xhaka to make those runs. But there really isn't a point in to do that with only one player, attacking the ball in in the box.

We just need Ode and Xhaka to step up their play around the box. Its been very slow and they look rusty.

First 5 will be key. Need a strong start to this half.
