Cant believe people are blaming Raya for not saving any of their pens. The real reason we lost is because Arteta didnt buy a striker leaving us lumbered with Havertz

It's not Raya's fault we lost. His attempts at saving those penalties in the shootout were amateurish though, moving comically early and far across the line. Was really weird stuff.

A very disappointing if predictable result. We have been desperately unfortunate with injuries but our style of play this season has been so negative and painful to watch.
I don’t think that Arteta has done a bad job but he needs to learn and change back to a more attacking style. For those who say “sack him”, who is the ready made replacement? Looks like Man Utd have finally found someone. It took them long enough.
There is a world shortage of decent attacking players but we need to buy at least two from somewhere. Our attacking options are less than paper thin.

We're not "desperately unfortunate with injuries". We have very little attacking depth that amplifies any attacking absence - first Odegaard earlier in the season, and then Saka.
Not unlucky with injuries how can one player being out mean our entire attack collapses, not acceptable.

yeah forget about our captain, Tomi, Calafiori, White injuries ffs
White has been out a find while? What was his injury and is he close to coming back?
I get Saka is only one player but he SO important and would be any club if honest
White is back in next couple of weeks I think I heard.
At least we showed 10-man manu who was boss - shame we didn't show them it was us

Defence hasn’t been the same since White got injured, we’ve also missed his attacking qualities too
Spurs going to actually sit back tonight
Team news in
Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Trossard, Sterling, Havertz.
Subs: Neto, Tierney, Zinchenko, Kiwior, Jorginho, Merino, Butler-Oyedeji, Kabia, Martinelli.
Would of gone with Martinelli instead of Trossard but otherwise pretty much as expected.

Did he just completely bottle out of that challenge? Where's the Sterling dive we've seen so often at other clubs?
Your press up top is good so far
we have 6ft 9 dec rice back defending on the half way line when we have a corner
Is the thread laggy or ok? We had issues last night
