He's like like worse version of Fabregas
COMPLETELY disagree with you
He's been class for us so far. He has given us, in wengers own words, 'technical security' which is spot on. He hardly ever loses the ball and keeps our moves flowing. Always probing and trying to play those incisive passes.
OFCOURSE he's not as good as cesc, but who was going to be?
United sold ronaldo, got valencia, still won the title. Valenica isn't as good as ronaldo, but it doesn't matter. The team adapted and moved on. We have to do the same
Besides, he's actually looked very good.
Arteta's been so good! Dunno who you've been watching
We're in scramble mode currently so it's difficult for anyone to look assured and class in our midfield but I think he's doing a good job. Really pleased at his work rate and willingness to help out in defensive situations.
He's been a bit of a rock in midfield imo. He tracks back well and uses the ball very efficiently as well as making a few quality passes.
I've really been impressed with him, and he's much better than I thought he was going to be.

Also, say what you like about screening the defence (which isn't so much his job anyway) but his block on the line effectively gained us 2 points last night!

Well he's stronger than Cesc, and better than him defensivley. Passing is the same.
True he can't dominate games like Ceac, but he does give us protection defensivley and on the ball. With Wilshere he'd look alot better.
He's been quality for us, and I love the fact that he works hard and actually puts his foot in.
Does anyone remember the goal saving block he made on the line yesterday

Looks pretty good imo but we wont be seeing that until at least January.
Arteta has been quality so far
Unfortunately whoever has played in front of him hasnt produced the goods higher up the pitch
COMPLETELY disagree with you

Agree.
He has been really good for me, But hes not an attacking midfielder. This is why 4-3-3 is not working because no one is capable of playing that attacking role behind the striker. 4-4-2 for me would be much more suited to the players we currently have.
