Interested to hear your thoughts on McCrorie.

There was a lot of excitement about him at first but it’s gonecc CCD a bit quiet.

Is he mostly playing in midfield?

Yeah playing in the middle most of the time, Ferguson/McCrorie potentially will be good, they have shown glimpses of forming a good partnership

Aberdeen have done very well for themselves in that deal. We’d be far better loaning guys like McCrorie out then selling after they do well

But Wright suits us a lot more than McCrorie. Could see him playing Cm or on the wing for us. Good backup

What’s your thoughts on him as a midfielder?

He was mobile enough and decent at the destructive side of things for us. He just didn’t seem to have a creative bone in his body.

A few driving runs, mostly in straight lines I seem to remember.

Has he contributed much creatively to your midfield?

Still not sure what his best position is tbh.

As it stands Wright improves the squad if he is better than Brandon Barker.

That fits with why we did the right thing in letting him go.

We only really utilised a player like that in a handful of games a season👍

He has, was a Cm at youth level a lot. And playing as an attacking mid for Aberdeen I’d imagine about the same as playing Cm for us.

Sure he’ll be seen as a wide player for us first, but he could easily play Cm in our set up similar to how Arfield does.

I have never seen him play CM, youth level is a lot different to senior football, RW, SS, CF are his positions
