It's about time VAR and the m0 ng5 that are charge of it were binned off. Absolutely f@ ck1ng incompetent and it's ruined so many perfectly good goals in games too.
When almost every game has another headline of 'VAR Controversy!' It's time to go.
As someone posted on Twitter yesterday, it’s almost as if there’s a deliberate ploy to make decisions by VAR SOOO bad, that everyone apologises to referees and begs for things to go back to how they were before .
The game was simpler when it was all up to the "bztard in the black". VAR is a curse on the game. For competent refs and linesmen (assistant refereees) it is almost an insult.
Is there a list available of the number of times each ref has called for a VAR review? Could be an indicator of their refereeing skills. There should be such a list that is published..
You weren't cheated against Wolves.
You lost due to a combination of poor finishing, bad luck, and the total stupidity of 2 of your senior players that should know better.

Please explain how David Luiz showed 'total stupidity'. I think running back towards his goal and trying not to touch the attacker was normal behaviour
Dunno what game everyone else was watching but in the one I saw, when Saka was brought down, there was a CB in the middle of the pitch headed back toward goal who would have had ample time to come across. Saka's not going to get an unchallenged run at goal from where he is, due to the distance he has to go and that CB. Since there is still the opportunity for a cover tackle, it's a yellow not a red.
Emi on Laca was a shocker though. All the managers have to be given the power to force a VAR review of decisions, at least once. They'd have to fix up because they'd start took look bad quickly with repeated successful challenges up and down the league. It'd make choosing when VAR is used more impartial and force refs to police their own fairly. They couldn't afford the optic of a league stat which showed every team in the league had 2 or 3 successful VAR challenges when playing Pool but only 1 or none when playing every other team. Or one team having an unusually high number of challenges in their favour do clearly repeatedly having bad decisions go against them. Stats are a biyatch like that, they'd expose deliberate dodgy calling pretty quickly.

The running back toward your own goal to stop the attacker I'd normal behaviour. Sadly the stupid "feck it up and trip him because you rookie mistaked your running line" is also normal behaviour...for David clumsy slow donkey boy Luiz.
Lacazette put his hands on the keeper first, so they would never give the pen even though the keeper was more aggressive
Ironic that instead of helping refs VAR and the m0ng5 that are in charge of running it have made everything even worse. Pitiful.

For COMPETENT officials it's an insult. Now...I challenge you to name ONE consistently competent official in the prem. Just one.
Other than Sian Massey-Ellis who i think could deserve a go in the crntre of the park
