Malen would be interesting, not to mention a nice ‘homecoming’ story. However, for me, the most obvious thing to do would be going balls-out to keep Balogun at the club.
Looking unlikely at the moment that we’ll have any European football next season, so I can’t see us having to resources to spend the kind of money needed to bring in ready made star quality level strikers. I’d also keep Lacazette and let him leave for free next year.
Fack me, does Kash comment on every non-Liverpool related article?
Myron Baodu
He is super quick.
Would love Nesyri to be considered, but he's turned down West Ham recently and stated he wants to stay at Sevilla.
Victor Osimhen would have been on my list before his big money move to Napoli. Not played well at all. But doubt Napoli would part ways so early and for anything cheap.
Of course, Nikolaj "The New Ibra" Moller could be in contention...
Giroud on a free is another option of course.

Ollie Watkins?

Can't see us buying from within the PL. Villa are in a very good position to get European football as well.
Odsonne Edouard is a good shout. He is different to Auba. Would give us plan b back.
Haaland of course. Not realistic.
As we are in a win nothing situation this season, give Martinelli and Balogun some game time might save us the embarasment of signing another dud.
If Fola said he will stay if he is given game time, then yeah, why not.
I think he has decided to go to Germany already though, so would be just giving him experience for another club to benefit from.
Whilst I’d be for Arteta trying Martinelli up front, even if he were successful we’d still need to sign a striker next summer (assuming our plans don’t include Lacazette).
Balogun needs to sign if he wants to feature. A stance I agree with tbh.
you should go all in for Odsonne Edouard
‘There is a theory Atletico fancy Laca, and we could sell him to Atletico and get Dembele. Seems far fetched, doesn't it?’
Only just seen this...
OUCH
Arteta attacking blueprint is crosses into the box. In that case a striker like Odsonne will probably fit the bill.
Ivan Toney will be on alot of Clubs wish lists. After our success with Ollie Watkins it'll be a no brainer for him leave this summer for The Prem. Looks a fabulous striker
Not very promising if this is the level of striker we're getting linked to. CM and no.10 are bigger priorities this summer so unless we can cash in on Lacazette, maybe better off keeping him for his last year and see how Martinelli and hopefully (unlikely) Balogun develop.

Among the top young strikers in the world. Who are you wanting us to be after?
Really So these guys are close to Mbappe and Haalands level? You can take their goal tally in the SPL and Dutch league and half it for what they'd score in the PL.

I disagree with the Balogun stance. If Eddie faacking Nketiah is ahead of you, you leave. I have seen Balogun produce more in his cameos than Nketiah has in the same games for 75 mins plus. As a player, you want a chance. Unfortunately, Arteta has shown that he cannot manage the youth players and defaults to the "experienced" players regardless of how poor they are (Luiz, Bellerin and Willian and even Auba this season). The cases of Saliba, Reiss-Nelson, Martinelli even and Balogun are shocking.

How are the cases of Nelson and Martinelli shocking? Not over-playing young players who are suffering lots of injuries seems sensible. Both have to sort their fitness out.
Balogun turned down contracts pre-Arteta. What is the point of playing him?
It’s not even a question for me.
Nketiah features more than Balogun purely because the relative lengths of their contracts.
Willian and Pepe dropped for ESR and Saka...
‘Arteta doesn’t handle youth players well’
