Actually laughable how he's still in a job when he sacked poch for having 14 points in 12 games.

I don't understand this comparison. Poch's form for most of 2019 was relegation material, so I think his sacking was a lot more based on the results across the year as opposed to 14 points from 12 games.
Not forgetting some of the awful results against Colchester, Brighton and Bayern Munich.

The league form in the previous season suffered as we made the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL. Makes me laugh when people say getting to the biggest game in club football is papering over cracks.
Papering over cracks is beating a couple of championship teams and European farmers to cling into your job.

I wouldn't have picked Sanchez today but it doesn't seem to matter who he picks, they all have mistakes in them.
I don’t understand the criticisms in our defence and not Jose himself. He keeps chopping and changing. When has thst ever been a recipe for a top defence? He’s causing the issue. You could argue that he didn’t buy them but he bought Doherty and that’s gone down like shiiiiit sandwich. He also brought Lindelof in at United so as far as I’m concerned he hasn’t got a clue about good defensive recruitment. He’ll get to the end of the season but I kind of think that winning a cup might reprieve him which is the last thing we want. It’ll be like Ramos all over again. He needs to go in the summer, even if we win both cups we’re in. Sounds harsh but the league is where we’re truly judged. I don’t think levy will do thst. If we win the league cup, he’ll keep him on and we’ll have another year of this awful football. It’s not a good enough trade. By that time, managers like Nangelsman will be snapped up by someone else. Got to be ruthless.
The only positive to come of today’s game is that I don’t think Jose can ignore Bale’s rising levels of performance. He has to start in the prem from now on.

We started Dier and Toby every week for a bit and looked OK. As fridge said above, the manager keeps rotating the players which never helps.

The season before Poch was sacked we were playing terrible football. Scraping through.
The CL final was an embarrassment and the worst I’ve ever felt as a Spurs fan and then we started the season playing like we are now - Poch had to go.
Mourinho has to go.
The guy after will have to go.
We do not invest properly in players so we are where we are. We are now a Top6 club playing Top Half club form.

I love the idea of us losing in the CL final was an embarrassment. I’d kill to lose a CL final now. Now we’re losing every week to clubs previously flirting with relegation, regularly getting out-footballed by clubs like Brighton and we’re now light years from even qualifying for the Champions League let alone almost winning it.
The one good thing to come from this is that those disgruntled in the final year under Poch, might, just might begin to appreciate what we had.

It was the manner in which we lost the CL Final - we were pathetic and our coach facked it up as he did numerous semis.
