Davis for me, especially as he looked done at the end of last season.
More difficult will be goal of the year
TBH honest although it would never happen - there's so little between Tav; McGregor; Goldson and Davis they should share it
McGregor and Davis have so many previous trophies/accolades though - it feels 'right' that Tav or Goldson get the nod.
Neil Lennon's in with a good shout no?

Its got to be Tav. Captain of the team who's won the first trophy in 10 years and his goals and assists led by example.

If it wasn’t for McGregor’s saves v Utd we could easily have been 3-0 down but he kept us in it and gave us a platform to build on and after the first 25 minutes we controlled the game
He also saved us in several European games
It’s easy to say he’s just doing his job but if it was any other keeper I think we’d have lost a lot more points and games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would have expected most Rangers keepers other than Cammy Bell to have made at least 2 out of the 3 saves versus United last week.
I completely agree that McGregor has been absolutely terrific when called upon. I just think over the 30 or so games hes played this season he has been vital in maybe half a dozen of them.
Goldson has marshalled a defence that has conceded less than a goal every 3 games in the league. Plus he has stepped up scoring goals as well.
So he takes it for me.
The shortlist is spot on but for me it's Tav. He set the bar and example at the start of the season.
That I think led many in the squad to raise their game and create some ridiculous momentum.
That's what modern day captains do, lead by example and he certainly does that
Saying anything other than McGregor is just mental.

Can’t understand why Barisic is not mentioned absolutely fantastic all season
Tav as it stands but a strong finish from our left back might get my vote
I agree to an extent about Barisic but I don’t think he has the leadership qualities that Tav, Goldson and McGregor do. That’s why I didn’t include him in the list but he has been excellent too.

He has had virtually nothing to do for 10-12 games this season.
Largely due to the excellent job guys like Tav and Goldson have been doing in front of him.
Which is why some people think those guys are more deserving.
Nothing mental about that at all IMO

Barisic has been super consistent - for me a solid 7.5/10 most weeks.
I think if he added a few goals from open play to his game it would take him up a level.
I quite often want him to shoot when he gets around the box but then he does shoot and I quickly remember why he doesnt do it too often.
Great from dead balls - no to much from open play. Lucky if Barisic has had a shot on target from open play this season?

And will put 2 or 3 fantastic balls in during each game

Not often I agree with you Duke.
Mainly for religious, political and just generally contrarian reasons.
But Barisic has been the best player in the country by a mile.
Only player who could play for the likes of Bayern and not look out of place.
McGregor second in my book.

You’re not kidding
I said earlier also that if Kamara gets a bit more self belief he’ll be right up there too. There’s also a lot more to come from Aribo and Hagi
Pretty much everyone else has made valuable contributions.
Arfield has been excellent and a real big game player at home and in Europe, Kent might not have had his best season but between him and Morelos they’ve caused defenders problems all season. Both Helander and Balogun too. Unfortunately Jack has had injury problems but also vital.
Got to say the management team and recruitment have done an outstanding job and there’s plenty of scope for improvement.
Think I may have to change my opinion
