18 shots and not a single goal - anyone would think these guys are professionals

I just think they’re has-beens. (The strikers I mean)
Got we what we deserved really. Don’t want it enough yet and I thought we rode our luck against Derby too. More work for the manager to do.
Forest played well for 60 minutes and were left totally dispirited by a sucker punch.
We should not have changed our formation and kept going.
We will survive this season.
We need to keep the nucleus of the team and somehow get some fire power for next season.

The manager needs to take a really hard look at this squad and get rid of all those he doesn’t want - or can’t show the commitment....Lolley, Grabben inc.
The only ones is keep for definite are Worrall and Mighten
Down to 17th. 11 points clear of 22nd
CH has a massive job at the end of the season. Get rid Get rid of ALL the out of contract players and try to get rid of as many of the others as possible. Massive rebuild required, again.

That sounds OK however many of those team have 2 games to catch up, if they someone get wins then that 11 points is only then 5
Then we’re really in trouble
Thankfully, I think we’ve done enough and have enough in the tank to survive this year
Three strikers have ten goals between them. The service has been poor at times, but good strikers get goals out of nothing. Ours Don’t score even when they do get good chances.

It doesn’t need a really hard look to see what is needed. A casual glance should be enough. Hughton has been in the game at a high level for forty years, he knows better than we do what is needed. Hope he is given the time he needs to fix things.
Earlier in the season we had a run of 6 games on the bounce against teams in the top 6, we picked up a solitary point, we now play 5 of the top 6 in the next 5 games and with efforts like tonight we may only get the same amount, I was feeling fairly comfortable before tonight’s abject display thinking CH has sorted them out, obviously not. By the end of the month we could well be back in the mire.

We won’t get dragged back into the relegation scrap because the teams beneath us aren’t good enough to capitalise, the problem is we are not moving forward, in fact we are only just treading water, can’t see the Mad Greek putting up with that beyond the season.

I can Dave. Unless he unearths a Nuno Espirito kind of manager then Hughton is the best we can hope for.
I guess we are all deflated perhaps we were starting to dream of sneaking in at 6.
We need to remain calm and get to the end of the season the main objective is to avoid relegation.
We are in a much better position than the start of the season.
Let start with a point at Watford and move on.
Agree Doha. We need to manage our own expectations. Mid-table is the best we can expect this season but we are in a decent position to plan for next season.
Hopefully we can keep Knockaert and Garner next season. If not we can still be OK.
The back 5 is fine with some good cover: Smith, Bong, Mbe Soh, Figs.
DM - If Garner does not return we have Yates and Cafu.
The front four badly needs boosting; more goals and more pace. It will be expensive, and we need to get it right. Sirike Dembele, Charlie Wyke, Luke Jephcott would be good targets
One of the biggest disappointments of last night, apart from losing, was the lack of impact from any of our subs, I often think we have one of the strongest bench’s in the Championship, but their impact last night was negligible. From the moment Luton scored we were like Rabbits in headlights, completely clueless. Don’t know whether CH got the substitutions wrong it the players just couldn’t be bothered. Until we find someone to convert some of our chances we are going to struggle. We are going to become Nottingham Forest Nil, again.
Leaving Murray on when he was clearly a spent force was bizarre. He fluffed a simple chance after two minutes so I didn’t expect him to score in the last half hour. Knockaert should have stayed on. I would also have changed to 3-4-3 formation

Knockart didn’t look happy to be subbed.
Knockaert was excellent in the first half but went AWOL in the second, along with quite a few others. Cafu offers little threat in the final third, in fact it’s becoming obvious how integral Yates is to us, he is one of the few midfielders who offer a route to a goal. Too many sat back and meekly accepted defeat.
