Keeper punches the ball outside his box but guess what the lino is not in line so does not give it. Typical of our luck
Well we stayed in the game, battled well and put in a decent performance. They are the positives but the cold hard truth is if you don’t get a shot on target you ain’t going to win many games. Nil is becoming all too familiar and I’m not sure CH knows how to change that aspect of our game.

We can't cross. We did not win a single header in the final 3rd as most balls were over hit but a long way
No midweek game so I guess that will be CH's excuse for Murray starting again and playing 90 minutes.
All managers have a blind spot.
Issue I have is, people saying we were in the game, we played OK, we could have got a result on another day
Malmö were saying the same thing in 1979...but guess what, we got the Cup
The plain facts speak form themselves - now a single shot in target, we deserved nothing and we got nothing
This item is verging in inept and there are too many journeymen just not bothered one single about what or where this Club is going

Do you mean you think we need to get rid of CH?
I seriously believe if we had ten players in the opposing box and only one defender, we’d pick out the defender, that how in effective I see us. As stated above we didn’t win a single header in their box and when the ball falls to a Forest player we still couldn’t hit the target, in fact I am struggling to think o even a routine save by the T-Watford keeper today.
I think personally it’s ok to lose this game. There are about three mistakes in the game. Without that we get a 0-0 which is a decent enough result.
If CH had started the season I think we may have been around 7 points better off. Maybe a little more. Which means upper mid and hovering below the play off places. Which is prob as much as we can hope for with this squad.
This squad only suits the type of game we play which is keeping it tight. If we try to open up we just concede. For the defence is not good enough and needs an overhaul. Same with the wingers. Just not dangerous. Rarely score or get an assist. Stick with CH and let him rebuild
Get rid of CH, definitely not, he is the best we can hope for at the moment, I’m just not sure he currently has the players to play his way, get to the end of the season, get shut of the deadwood, of which there is plenty and let Chris have a full season. As I said earlier I don’t see us picking many/any points from our next 4 or 5 games but still think we should have more than enough to stay up, which is a very poor indictment with the number of established, quality players we have.
Neither Knockaert nor Freeman do their jobs defensively. Fortuneately Christie has coped pretty well, but neither Ribs nor Bong has had a good season.
Maybe it's time to give Blackett a go and stop playing Freeman; Lolley and Ameobi are both better both defensively and offensively.
Reds, I think this is the strongest squad we’ve had for a while, the problem is it just hasn’t gelled, Colback, Arter,Lolley, Ameobi, are all good players, at this level, the problem is they don’t seem to be able to play together.
I also think CH is our best option as manager, but like I've said all managers have blind spots:
Taylor and Mighten should be in ahead of Murray and Freeman; both offered nothing today, not for the first time.
We need players that are hungry and prepared to take one for the badge - as I say, the money and celebrity status has just made the modern footballer into a non-caring mercenary, that’s more bothered about their Instagram account than they are giving their all to the Club - this is right across the board, not just at Forest
The problem we have is that we just pick up everyone else’s cast offs and journey men - there now heart in the club whatsoever
The only ones that seem to really care and show any passion are Worrall and Mighten the vast majority of the rest as useless
Only bit of light is the Derby are losing
I think Yates cares, not sure he’ll ever be everyone’s favourite but true supporters who know a bit about football will appreciate that every team needs a Yates kind of player, someone who will take one for the team and get stuck in, Watson was also in that mould.
Yea dave - I would include Yates also
Not great, but a decent performance against a very strong side. Came close to equalising second half after conceding a poor goal in the first 20 minutes.
Thought we'd equalised in the last few minutes but Taylor was offside. I'd start him next time, and start Lolley over Freeman. Probably bring Ribeiro back for Bong and Cafu for Yates.
We should be alright this season only because they are worse teams than us.
The penultimate game of the season against Sheffield Wednesday could be significant.
Barnsley are doing really well !!

I thought we competed we at times. Took the game to a former premiership, side. Had Taylor’s offside effort counted we’d all be happy right now. Different day, different outcome.
Nobody beneath us made any in roads today, a point would have been good but it wasn’t to be. Reading, Norwich at home next followed by Brentford and Cardiff away, 4 points would be a reasonable haul from that lot, that’s a win, Reading is the best bet for that, and a 0-0 against one of the others. Can’t say I am feeling over confident but the championship being as crazy as it is anything’s possible.
Then important and defining thing will be not to lose against any of the teams below us
