SandudeOut of all the Tottenham board there's you and maybe like two others that talk sense. The rest are idiots who care more about insulting Tottenham's manager than they do about supporting their team.

Yes, asking a sensible poster for a football article is the same as actually wanting to suck Mou's cokc

I see my name has been taken in vain.
You all saw that damned NLD...so why on earth do you want Deuce to tell you what you all already know?
Its very simple......
the first half was moronic.
The penalty WAS a penalty according to the rules.
Lamela scored an amazing goal.
And then got sent off!
And Spurs woke up after that sending off and had they played the whole match the way they played after Lamela, they would certainly have won it.

There is one question Deuce might answer for you all.....
was the first half really Mourinho's fault?
And then you all can decide if you all agree with what he says!

No pressure thenI’ve been waylaid by my youngests year group having to isolate for a week, so back to the home schooling. Think the moment may have passed. Short version is I can tolerate a 2-1 defeat against a fairly evenly matched Arsenal, I can’t tolerate the manner of the performance in an NLD. Don’t bother writing articles much these days, you can put effort into writing a good article and get 20 responses, yet some idiot writes some inflammatory wum sheite and it’ll run into the hundreds for days. Theres some really knowledgable and articulate posters on the Spurs board, but as ever the idiots tend to monopolise things.

Why are we playing like Stoke competing against Brazil 70?
------------
Are Man City a better team than United? Yes.
Did they still lose 2-0 at home to United? Yes.

A bit of caution in big games doesn't harm anyone. You can get punished if you don't show big teams the respect they deserve when you play them.

Just delete anything you don’t agree with and sit in your echo chamber, right?

Both NLD teams have inclusive match threads, is it something in the water down there?

Would explain why hard-man Ace moved north to get away from you southern fairies

NB: I didn’t say “self-proclaimed hard-man”.

You get more punished if you concede 70% possession and rely on a notoriously average defence to win games for you, as Spurs have found out on many occasions already this season, and not just in the big games. If you are going to deploy those tactics at least have the right players on the pitch - playing Doherty at RB and having no protection in front by playing Bale, then inviting pressure onto him was suicidal. Schoolboy errors from Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thing is, he's arguing against himself here. He's saying that the on-paper better team should be more cautious in the big games to avoid losing... which is exactly what Spurs did (I think most would agree Spurs are stronger than Arsenal on paper these days), and they got beaten anyway.

Of course it was Mourinhos fault. You could see within 30 seconds that we had set up with our back line about 19 yards ahead of the goal, narrow, trying to break up play in our final third and aim a long ball to Son. Who sets the team and game plan up? Why are we playing like Stoke competing against Brazil 70?

It wasn’t working and only by Son getting injured chasing hopeful balls like a puppy did Lamela come on and we as a result move a little further forward due to the now lack of pace onfield. We nicked an amazing but totally undeserved goal, and then immediately retreated back to where we’d started, inviting pressure - only this time with no out ball option. It was appalling and absolutely inevitable that they’d score before HT. I even called it on the match thread seconds before their goal went in. Relying on a defence to win you a game when Doherty is being skinned over and over and getting no protection from his winger? If they are the tactics you’re gonna employ at least put the right personnel on the pitch - or, ideally, don’t employ them at all.

Playing hideous football to grind out a result only to lose by giving away a goal on HT and a penalty. That is Spurs in a microcosm this season, rinse and repeat, same old sheite. Appalling approach to the NLD and got the outcome we deserved.

Agree, all that was obvious.
I think you must add that the squad did come alive when it went down to 10 men.
And........ had they played like that from the get go, the result would have been a win for Spurs.
And yes, any back line with Doherty in it is a liability.
(and he has been called upon by Ireland!)
But most disappointing of all was the performance of the middle two, Hojbjerg and Ndombele.....
Hojbjerg works like a horse but can be beaten in a footrace, and that happened all afternoon.
As for Ndombele, talented as he is, he must learn that he cannot always beat a double or triple team.

With regards to the NLD as Ace said anybody with half an ounce of football sense knew within 30 seconds what tactics were going to be used and they also knew that they would be disastrous.

Our ast 8 games against teams arounf the top half of the league have all ended in defeat and thats mainly due to the jose policy of going out to try and not lose instead of actually going out to play football in the opponents half of the pitch instead of our own.

For somebody who earns millons a year its a total joke that he cannot see what anybody that has been involved in the game at any decent level sees immediately.

I never wanted him as manager and I doubt that there are more than 5% of Spurs fans that have any faith in him whatsoever after what we have been forced to endure this season.

Uh look out, the ugly fat singleton from Portsmouth that supports a club from London wants to say something. Pin your ears back lads, this’ll be worth listening to.
