BLT. Toasted white bread, one slice buttered and one with mayonnaise. A few slices of ripe tomato and some fresh red leaf lettuce. Crispy streaky bacon still warm from the oven. Side of crinkle cut chips (oven chips is fine), plenty of salt, with ketchup for dipping.

Lemon iced tea, not too sweet, plenty of ice cubes. Thanks

Can’t believe no ones echoed my French dip, that’s a million times better than tuna anything. Heathens.

Philly is womens cheese.

Tuna, tomato, lightly toasted in ciabatta, like you get in Sorremto

Failing that, beercan sandwich with HP

Used to be (lots of) pastrami, pickles, French mustard on anything grainy.

Now I’m off the meat it’s a strong cheddar and horseradish.

I like the simple classics hard to pick a favourite.
Extra mature cheddar n branston pickle or cheese n onion. Tuna cucumber, soft cheese n cucumber is great with load of salt n pepper. Ham lettuce n mayo. Blt or ploughmans.

At college i used to goto a butchers for lunch who had a deli and always get a haslet, sometimes with coleslaw it was grate .

Anyone tried peanut butter and cheddar? Sounds rank, but it’s surprisingly ace.

Cant say i have, ive had pot noodle sandwiches n love a crisp sandwich 😂 one time i had load of leftover blue cheese slices in n i was hooked on brussels garlic pate crisps n blue cheese sandwiches for a week.

Never had all those things in at same time since though . Forgot about that actually.
