Viva, if Higgins is to be World champion again he'll earn it...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed, interestingly 3 of the 4 names he could face beat him in those 3 finals he lost in a row.
I'm just taking it one game at a time.
I've updated the schedule. I'm pretty sure that's right.
Anyone fancy taking a punt at the semis?
Ill go for
Ding/Selby/Robertson/Trump
Selby has a tough quarter, possibly Mark Allen in round 2
Already feeling so nervous. Judd doesn't play till Tuesday so that just makes the nerves even worse.
Ronnie will be done on Saturday
Would like to see Higgins vs Ronnie in the Semi with both playing close to their best.
Then in the other Semi, anybody but Judd.
I will go with Maguire, Allen, Carter, Gilbert as players who could cause an upset in their Quarter of the draw.
I'm watching the 2019 world final
I watched Higgins 147 attempt at 12-5 down, then turned over 😂😂
I'll be doing that tomorrow when they show last years semi finals documentary. I'll watch Kyren vs McCill but turn over when they show Ronnie vs Selby
2018 quarter final John Higgins v Judd Trump, Higgins wins 13-12 Trump lead 7-4 at one stage, but this was nip & tuck all the way... Higgins reached the final for the second year in a row losing to Mark Williams in the final
That was a horrible match for me Judd was 11-9 up and missed a relatively easy ball with a chance to go 12-9 up. Higgins cleared and I knew the match would be over for Judd and Higgins would win.

Higgins inflicted a lot of painful defeats on Judd over the years, the 2011 world final, the 2012 Shanghai Masters final, the 2018 world championship quarter final. I think they also had a Scottish Open semi final in 2016 when Judd was leading 5-1 and Higgins ended up winning 6-5!
It has all changed though ever since Judd beat him in that 2019 world final. I hope that will still continue!
They can continue to beat each other up as long as Ronnie joins Hendry on 7 😎
Naaaaaa anything but that.
Here's a stat, Neal foulds just tweeted, it's been 27 years since the quarter finals hasn't had a player from the class of 92 in it... 👍
Yep I saw that. I was thinking cool story bro
