I’m not a Brexit supporter or voter but if you compare our vaccine rollout to the EUs, then I’d say some economic tariffs are more than worth it.

Thats only because the UK manufacturer AstraZeneca is not adhering to its contract with the EU and shipping all vaccines to the UK. But yeah, you are ahead of us through foul play.

Yeah but we're free.

Nothing to do with the fact that the contract with the UK was signed 3 months earlier than the one with the EU of course

Been an administrative nightmare for me.

HMRC's "Postponed VAT Accounting" scheme is in tatters. My own account has one shipment completely missing (with approx £8,000 of VAT value) and the other entry in February is showing on my January account, (I didnt import any goods in January)!

When I spoke to the VAT office just under a month ago to complain, they said the were "working on it as a matter of urgency", but its still wrong.

It's a clusterfeck.

Err. By early purchasing and approval of multiple vaccines. See the EU waited, waited and waited while all member states were told what to do by Germany and France.

Oh no so we won't get the £300m we would have got from taxing big tech? Who cares when we are now not sending £350m a week to the EU? That's £18.2bn per year just from earning are freedom.

There is some truth to this but I think the media in England isn't really highlighting that and people are not aware.

It’ll be all down hill for Brexit from that, which will likely mark the high point of the whole shiiitshow

Well this isn't true at all.

But, anyone who voted for Brexit was either uninformed, stupid, or had something to personally gain from it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tell me then Einstein, whats the truth?

The U.K. contract was signed just a day after the one with the EU. So why is the UK getting all their vaccines, and the EU don't?

Brexit was built on a lie from Day1.

We will benefit from vaccine hoarding in the short term but the EU will give us hell for years after the PM and his cronies have disappeared into a life of (even more) wealth and privlege.

The contracts are practically identical

Laughed my nads off at those Brexiteers being kicked out off Spain.

But apparently they all knew what they were voting for.
