you wont allow players to join from Porto/Benfica etc, but when rumours fly about you say its an auction, you never actually stated wether he signed for Man Utd or another team it would be different.

I don't understand how you can't grasp the very simple concept that not every player and club is the same?

As I'm not a mind reader or in touch with any club Chiefs I can't know who is going to leave or when, so I have to decide based on clubs previous/players previous. Just cause one players leaves Benfica doesn't suggest to me that Porto are also going to sell their star midfielder and their captain, or that he currently wants to leave. All I can go on is the fact that he's been in the spotlight for a good 4-5 transfer windows, coming up to 6 and there aren't really any rumours for almost 5-6 months now suggesting he will leave, never mind concrete evidence.

Porto's highly regarded captain who as far as we know has rejected a fair few offers to leave in the last two years is a different scenario to say an 18 year old in the academy at Atalanta.

Mandragora came into the league pretty much the week after he made his Genoa debut.
