Diego Costa, Juan Mata and Fernando Torres all left out of the Spain's provisional Euro 2016 squad.
Andros Townsend is included in England's squad.

Spain really are taking the mick

Martinez not too surprising he's not really performed consistently

Don't think Morata has improved from last season either personally, but thats maybe because he's been totally overshadowed by Dybala

So whats everyones predicted Euro 2020 (not 2016, 2020) teams for France, England, Spain, Germany and any other country you want to predict

Bartra over Martinez though

Morata still has it all imo, just needs to play consistently. Juve doing all they can to get him on a perm with meetings with Madrid held

Del Bosque seems to have favoured a la liga favoured squad tbf, maybe he's decided he's not up to the travelling anymore and only picked players he has been to watch regularly

i don't want to do any of them Wilshere

Can't he get others to travel for him lol, just not risked those with injury concerns and lack of form through the season

Wilshere can we see yours first lol

He's Spanish, probably doesnt trust anyone else!

England:

Butland
Clyne Smalling Stones Shaw
Oxford Loftus-Cheek
Sterling Alli Ibe
Kane

something like that, impossible to predict though

Germany named the most ridiculous list of midfielders you can imagine for the euros, not to mention keepers and the likes of Boateng and Hummels in defence

then go and name Gomez as their only striker

watching videos of Zidane is baffling, don't get how a bald lanky slow looking frenchman can do the things he did

Germany will win euros I reckon beating France in final

I think Belgium or France. Belgium particularly convincing for me now with the quality of that Vertonghen-Alderweireld partnership. Hazard as well coming into form at the perfect time and pretty much fresh having not really played much this season, thats a massive boost to their chances, if he and KDB can perform at the same time they can beat anyone

Germany and Italy probably my next choices

posted on 17/5/16

Reckon Slovakia/Austria could be the surprise package too

Belgium look good on paper but don't think they'll do that well in a tournament scenario, Croatia and Russia 2 teams to watch

posted on 17/5/16

Italy will do enough to get out the groups and from there we've always been a solid knock-out tourny team

Verratti and Marchisio both missing will be a massive blow

posted on 17/5/16

I like Croatia but they always fail to impress at tournaments. Russia could be a good shout, certainly don't see England getting out of the group.

Belgium you could well be right, i just fancy its all coming together at the right time, not to mention they got to the QFs of the world cup pretty easily without having to play well and only narrowly lost to Argentina, any improvement in their performance levels should see them at least in the semis imo

strikers will be key, Lukaku and Benteke failed to live up the hype in Brazil, if they can score the goals they should have a strong run

posted on 17/5/16

Italy will always be there or there abouts, don't think anyone expected them to get out of the group in 2006 as far as i can remember

Plus they have the best manager in the world

Conte isn't even the best Italian manager, all bow to Ranieri

posted on 17/5/16

Get some new material Wilshere ffs

Obviously the Conte comment was a joke

Mourinho is clearly the best manager in the world

Jose couldn't keep a job, now he can't even get one. Poor guy should go back to Italy or Portugal

posted on 17/5/16

Seems to me like he's had plenty of offers, he's just waiting on the one he wants, nice position to be in really!

Should never have sacked Paul Clement

Ye was such a poor sacking jumping to it after a great start. Didn't deserve to go up after that.
