A top game on paper with two teams at the top end, Villa just losing ground a little bit, it was end to end stuff, but both keepers and defences were impenetrable, neither side could find a way through and when they did they found two keepers in excellent form, they both had chances to take the lead, but on the day just couldn't find the back of the net, any other day this could have ended 3-3 with lesser keepers but unfortunately for the sell out crowd it wasn't to be

He was out performed by Borini and Suso tonight. Just don't see the hype, good at scoring against lesser teams but was no better at Port, in fact worse for Porto than Aboubakar and Tiquinho. It's not. Really anything to do with his time at Milan tbh, never thought he was all that great at Porto either, decent goals record but always against weaker teams, never scored against the better sides. Wasn't that long ago you were agreeing with me actually. Have you signed him by any chance?

Hull have been plugging away this season, with out much luck, Welshy sticking to his guns, they do have a good front 3 now to give them a chance, Everton much improved tho and went in as big favourites and the early signs were that this was going to be a home 3 points, Welshy has a good gameplan and his team stuck to it which nullified the Everton attacks, the game progressed through the minutes and Hull created chances but were on the back foot at times but defended well, they got a breakaway goal on 82 mins as the new legs of Milik and Forsberg created a great chance between them and the stiker battered it him after a low cross was drilled in, there was time for an equaliser, it just didn't come in a much needed win for Hull City

Nah not writing him off at all Renegade that would be silly, neither of us know where he'll end up. Merely saying that from what I've seen he's yet to do anything that would suggest to be he's going to be a top striker. A good goalscorer against teams you should be beating for sure, but he's so far always been on the periphery against better teams and he has played Benfica a few times, Sporting a few times, Juve a few times, Inter, Roma, Lazio. Im yet to be convinced by him, reminds me of Torres at Chelsea and ironically seems to get the praise Chelsea fans gave Torres at that time too.

One of the biggest reason's Palace struggled at the start of the season was that the likes of Towsend and RLC were creating enough chances to keep Palace in games, but Benteke kept missing sitters.

when he's missing chances from 3 yards out that would secure the team points you have to blame him for the lack of goals. Palace were creating more chances than 7 of the teams in the bottom half. Defending obviously doesnt help but shouldn't stop Benteke finishing easy chances imo

every striker goes through a barron spell, I could name a few that start in the league..

In his last 11 games(almost a third of a season), Benteke has 1 goal and 3 bookings.

Zlatan is a world class player missing through injury.
