A local lad was the prince of goalkeepers - an annual visit from our supporters bus as well as a football tournament for local kids which still runs.

Far too young to have seen him play but can still sing the song 😀

My lad just played us about 15 versions of it. Although the old Glen Daly is hard to beat.

You can see his goal keeping Jersey at the football museum I think it is < erm> trying to think where I seen this

Anyway it's like thick wool , it's looks absolutely brutal to play in ...in the sun or the rain !!

Cannae remember where it is - abiding memory of the museum was braatbak’s size 4’s ffs - like a pair of boottees for a newborn 😂

apparently so, he worked there many years before I was there, think he played for Sunderland but not 100%
