We don’t have a manager good enough. That’s what’s going on.

I’ve seen no progress from last season. It’s the same old. We’ve spent so much money but it’s the same old tripe. No idea what Ole’s tactics are. Just sets his team out in a pragmatic way and hope one of the attacking players produce a moment of individual brilliance. It’s not really sustainable.

A combination of things.

Poor management, poor player performance, United being a huge scalp for opposition and the absence of a top midfielder.

We have a poor manager and no style of play, relying on individual moments in games to break teams down.

What is there to be confused about, under Ole we are never going to get 85 plus points in the league/win the league. We might get lucky and have a cup run, but even that's unlikely with his lack of tactical nous.

Nothing's "going on" but reality.

Two of the league wins were against weak opposition and featured a contest between how poorly the respective keepers performed.

United don't have:

*a real spine
*width
*an effective person at the 'pointy bit'
*an effective operator at the 'blunt end'

They do have lots of very good midfielders, and two epl level CBs, but that alone is not enough to mount a serious league campaign.

Pretty much the same problem the club has had for about a decade now. That, if anything, is "what's going on".

Other than one of Marvin Gaye's finest moments.

Why were Shaw and Maguire subbed off?

Bit my question is what is going on?

Same thing that’s been happening for years. We generally don’t put in very good performances (even when we win), so it should come as no surprise when we drop points against anyone.

One of the main issues is how wasteful we are. 55 shots in the last 2 games and no goals.

So many of those shots were speculative efforts, to be fair. Not like we are missing sitter after sitter.

I think given the money spent and the lack of any real improvement should mean his time is up.

Man U are just an awful team to watch these days and with the amount of quality in their squad that is truly embarrassing

I don't think Ole would be sacked until it's mathematically impossible to get into the top 4.

Why wait till its too late??

I've said, since start of the season i was gonna hold Ole to more scrutiny than ever. Clock is seriously counting down on his time. And it's a shame, cos he is the master of his downfall.
We now have 3 defeats in 4. With this squad.
Totally unacceptable... It may be lucky for him it's happened in 3 different competitions, one being fatal.
But the cup we were less interested in.
Regardless of a trophy drought, that league cup simply wouldn't be enough.
But they should've want to win that game anyway.
27 shots 6 on target is a bad look.
Suddenly all those good vibes he had at the start of the season seems vanished now.
He continues with McFred. He's Stubborn and he has no right to be.

We missed some good chances but were also wasteful in good positions by taking those shots instead of making a pass or working the ball around a little longer.

….

Same on Wednesday night.

Yeah that’s true. Greenwood was especially guilty of that today. It was frustrating because he was the most threatening attacker for us, and thus kept getting the ball in dangerous positions, but took the shot on too many times when it was the wrong option.

Though in a way I’m kind of happy he still had the confidence to take things on, and doesn’t feel he has to feed Ronaldo all the time.

maybe reading too much into it, but isn't he 20 soon.
like next week... I think he was thinking of the teenager record. Cos we've never seen him play so selfishly before.
sure maybe the odd 1 or 2 moments in a game, but not as many as this.

He’s too far off Rooney, Owen and Fowler for that to have been a factor.
